  have they (the pettitioners) able to prove their case? beyond reasonable doubt that the electoral verdict of the peope of ghana was truely overturned against the pettitioners to favour the president declared by the EC as the winner?
  in all the evidence submitted by the pettitioners and cross-examminations, I am asking you the writter of this article that in your heart are you convinced that the election was massively rigged infaviour of mahama?
  
  where is the evidence that show that some of the votes of Akuffu Addo was written off and that of mahama was over increased?
  in all the series of the cross-examminations the in-experience lawyer Addison argue about signed or unsigned pinksheet which had nothing to do with the votes cast at the various polling stations, which is the true picture of the will of the people
  if we dont like democracy as a people we must call it off and let the abongo boys takeover.if not we must respect who so ever elected visa-vis where the person hailed from in the country-
  The trend of ghana economy i understand perfectly that things are going from bad to worst, that doesnt permit us to use by hook or crook to overturn the will of the people.
  
  it will lead our democracy to chaos if the suprem court upheld the signed or unsigned pinksheet issue to overturn the verdict of the people-in the sense that in future any plitical inclined presiding officer wil intensionly ignore to sign the sheet when the results doesnt favour his party.

  In Jewish law one witness is unacceptable and inadmissible. That was why Cain was able to ask God if he was "his brother's Keeper"? Even with the Almighty God as witness and present. Cain was allowed to walk the earth scarred yet free. Where as Bawumia a conflict of interest sole witness will have us believe Ghanaian votes which failed to elect him was a malpractice and ill fated therefore should be nullified to make him president. The petitioners produced 11,850 pink sheets yet not a single one of their own polling agents as witness, why?. Surely, if you and I were not there, then the multifarious not the nefarious who were there ought to be believed. The petitioners case is a watershed premise without conclusion therefore a very "rich fallacy."

  This article actually has said it all. I feel that the whole case as presented by "some evidence" cannot be the real truth of this election petition. The first is that the election took place in 26,002 polling stations and according to Dr Bawumia, "me and you were not there". But the courts did not take a single witness from the over 11,000 polling stations being contested. The Supreme Court will have an up-hill task explaining this serious 'error' to the voters who witnessed the voting first-hand. Secondly, there was a deliberate attempt which was often allowed despite protestations that certain pink sheets which were part of the final declaration of the declaration of President in the 2012 election be excluded from scrutiny. And lastly, the SC will also need to tell Ghanaians how the same election procedures which produced the parliamentarians is not flawed as against the presidential when all the elections took place on the same day. The Supreme Court can do better so that innocent voters will not be denied their fundamental right to choose the people of their choice in ALL elections. Whatever the case, any electroral reforms must make it impossible for any manual input in ascertaining the will of the Ghanaian voter; enough of human errors which in most cases has very little to do with how the people actually cast their votes. That is where the peace we desire will emanate from, not Court verdicts.

  do not pretend,be bold enough to express your views.A criminal case in the US has nothing to do with the justice System in Ghana and has nothing to do with any case in our Courts.If it is about the infamous NPP election Petition you want to comment on be bold to do so,others will be bold enough to answer you.

Non obstante, I smell, Kingley,a witty camouflage of your intention to influece the pannel of the 9 Justices sitting on the petition affair.Why this untimely invocation of Usa Zim's case? You thereby suggest that any verdict issued by the SC will be contestable.This is contempt of court! (No,I'm kidding!). I'm persuaded that our learned,professional Justices are capable of ruling righteously on ths case & I just hope that all Ghanaians will peacefully accept the verdict. Ghana must move foward. VIVE LE GHANA!!!

  Human law is deficient--because it is propagated through filthy and wicked minds. Human law is not designed to seek truth--so we are told the law seeks justice.
  
  But what is justice--in the face of gross immorality, wickedness, greed, and manipulations from rich classes?
  
  And is justice the highest good? Or is it mercy, or love for fellow human beings--or a combination of all.
  
  So those who put their faith in the rule of law will always be disappointed.
  
  Regardless of what the supreme court decides--Ghana will continue to flirt with instability--not because of the law--but because of the immoral acts--greed, stealing at high places, selfishness, disregard for the poor, etc.
  
  In effect, the law by itself is not enough--we need some morality. At the very least--love for our neighbors.
