Mahama is the president but is answerable to Ghanaians. The money misused is for Ghanaians and the people deserve the right to know the report that his own earlier committee submitted. Why can't the prez be transparent and explain to Ghanaians the reason for the committee to review the report? Does this not give room to suspicion? This is what happens and politicians take Ghanaians for a ride. People like you never see any wrong that your political leader does. That is why Ghana is at where she is now.

Where are we as a people and country heading? I just finished reading the Draft GYEEDA report submitted to Mahama and I don't think there was the need to set up a committee to review it. If you read it, you shall be boiling with anger. There is and have been too much embezzlement of state funds that I think there should be a kind of special courts to fast track trial people who engage in such dissipation of state funds. People found guilty and culpable of such rot should be given long prison sentences without the possibility of a parole. Even if they should be executed, so be it. I am so annoyed that some of these people mentioned are in government and are MPs, still enjoying and hatching new plots to embezzle more. My concern is that Mills and Mahama were/are not aware of this rot? Is that why they got rid of Amidu?
If Mills and Mahama could not prosecute any of Kuffour's people, then could it be that you scratch my back and I scratch your back thieving? We need to find a way to stop this tribal and political nonsense. That is why workers are not paid promptly and benefits delayed. Very soon, Ghana may go bankrupt as Chicago is bankrupt now.

That's bullcrap. We have to prosecute any state official who commits a crime regardless of which party they belong to. Crime should be punished and it doesn't matter which party's ox is gored. This is the only way we can stop the bleeding if the damage done to the national economy means anything to us. Making such lame excuses for erring state officials is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If Kuffuor's administration officials got away with similar crimes but were not prosecuted for lack of evidence then doesn't this provide us the opportunity to close the loopholes and sanitize the system? Armed with this vital information what has the Mills/Mahama administrations done to amend and improve the situation? Nothing ! Is this not an indictment of the NDC administration? They know what is wrong with the system and rather than fix it they prefer to help themselves to help themselves to whatever remains in the national purse.This is criminal and unpatriotic.
