  He graduated from the University of Ghana in 1967 with a B.Sc in Economics. Nana trained as a lawyer in England and was called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1971 and the Ghanaian Bar in 1975.
  
  Under President Kufuor, Nana served as the Attorney-General and Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was the flagbearer of the party in the 2008 elections and was again elected in 2010 to be the flagbearer of the party in the upcoming 2012 elections.

Mahama and the Ndc like everyone of us voted, he could have stayed home if all that was required was to pronounce himself elected but that was beyound his control and falls into the independent domain of the EC. By the petitioners inability to prove that what happened in the areas that the president won did not happen in the regions they THEMSELVES held is unprecedented and hilarious, how could Afari Djan have ran a perfect election in 2/10 of the country yet goof so badly in the other areas under the same set of circumstances?

  Signature.... when omitted by the final responsible person to make a document valid, is never admissible anywhere. Example, when parliament passes a legislation, and all the parliamentary leaders sign the document, BUT the president refuses to sign or for any reason the president do not sign, the legislation do not become law, period. let a bursar presents a cheque to the bank without the headmasters signature, and see if the bank will pay?? If a bank honors such a check it will be fraud. So people must disabuse their minds of presiding officers not signing pink sheets as of no consiquence as a big lie. Our laws have provisions that make this irregularity, punishable, and the document not signed, INVALID. Secondly, the no Verification no vote and the over-voting argument of Tsatu is so infantile. is he saying he was not in court or were they sleeping in court when pink sheet after pink sheet Afari Gyan admitted them? the court transcripts are there for all to read. They NDC can conviniently side step the evidence staring in their face,but I bet you the petitioners have it all in their address which will not escape the Judges. By the way the Presiding officers signature and over-votes are the big item for the petitioners. What does Tsikata say about the SAME POOLING STAION CODES SAME POOLING STAION NUMBERS AND SERIAL NUMBERS DUPLICATED AND TRIPLCATED???? So if you as a person present teo checks to the bank, with same name and address and serial number on the checks but different amounts, which one do you expect the bank to pay?? Your bet is as good as mine, they will be thrown in the garbage.!!! We all know some places as Police stations that were used as Special voting centers were not used for the main election. These were proved in court, and you bet the petitioners will list all the Special Voting centers, and show to the court the fallacy of EC and NDC arguments, and show that the duplication and triplication were deliberate. This is where the game will be over for EC, NDC and Mahama. Brace yourself for that soon, bodie.

  In every game there rules to be obeyed. This game is not between NPP and the EC. A third party is involved. That is the electorate. If the petitioners want the votes of 2 million, 4 million voters to be annulled, they must show and proove what crime these people committed. did they put a gun at the head of the officials to allow them to vote without verification, did they prevent the officials from signing the pink sheets? Were the results on unsigned pink sheets different from those declared and in possession with the petitioners and all others? If biometric machines failed to function, what has that got to do with the voters even if they were dully verified by other constitutionally permissible means of identification? Why is NPP not asking themselves these questions? Where is the collusion that they made so much noise about? Where is the fraud they talked so much about? Where is the deliberate padding of votes they talked so much about? You take away all these and you are left with clerical errors not uncommon to all elections. The EC and NPP who committed more errrors taking the time available to each into account? This simply means none of those NPP men including Bawumia can be trusted with the work of the EC, not to talk of the affairs of the nation.
