Brilliant. We need more such articles in the press to decontaminate the pollution that has infected the media and the general way of life of Ghanaians.
Ever heard the saying, give them an inch and they'll take a mile. Poverty is a crime and with it the short-term thinking that is turning daily life in Ghana into a rat race at all levels.

You are right. We are each a part of the problem and a part of the solution. But it takes leadership to create reality and emphasis value and honest effort in our daily lives. That is really the bigger problem.
We need to examine all aspects of our national life, culture, tradition and stereotypes which feed into political thought and actions inimical to our sense of nationhood and our development.

The problem with the African mentality is that they would rather hear this type of thought from outsiders who do not give a damn. Worst, we will even pay them millions to tell us what is staring right at us. STILL WE RISE!
