Nii, your idea is noble but this time, you failed woefully to cogently put it together coherently.

What he has written goes for all leaders in the country they are just selfish but then we the citizens allow them to lord over us.

The only problem with the write-up is, he failed to tell the readers or Ghanaians HOW they could keep the feet of the leaders in fire. HOW do you let Kufuor, Akufo, Mahama and all these people who were born with silver spoon in their mouths feel the heat or pains of the poor, neglected and abandoned in our society?
It is almost impossible; the only way to do that is to go the "Arab Spring" way and form our own "Ghana Rainfall" or whatever. Without that the leaders will not get it. Unfortunately, I have no hope because of how the leaders have tried and managed to the oppressed and abused into 2 boxes: Partisan Politricks and Tribalism.

Infact bro I think what you are saying here makes a lot of sense.See Accra which is our capital.Full of dust every where. No running water for years at homes and electricity every day on and off.Yet we travel to other countries and enjoy what they have created.Look at our airport. It is not even a standard airport. People are just too fed up you know? This make us to wonder what is really happening to the money we make as a nation from our resources. Recently they was an issues of making a new budget and increasing prices of fuel that will automatically inflate the prices of other goods and services and making the economy of the whole country to decline. I cannot imagine our leaders do not see these things this way. What kind of a country is that is so dusty?
Look at the Accra Kumasi road. The road is so bad that it takes more than 10 hours to drive between the two towns and it is the main road that link the complete busines hub of Ghana yet for years that road has been there unfixed.
Look at Nigerians and their Abuja. Can’t Ghana do the same and build a new capital and a better airport for the country. where is our pride as a nation? Where is the money we make from our natural resources go? The land in Accra is just wasted on short short buildings and no any proper plan. What exactly is going on here.

Okunka: You should have started with KUFOUR: WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN A PRESIDENT DECORATED HIMSELF, FIXED HIS OWN RETIRMENT PACKAGE, SOLD STATE ENTERPRISES SINGLE-HANDEDLY... YOU NAME THE REST..AND NOT BEFORE BUILDING HIMSELF A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR MANSION... A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR HOTEL .. A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR SUPERMARKET..AND ENDED UP
WITH A FLEET OF CARS OF HIS CHOICE??
Down memory lane, when Mary Edusei bought a "Golden Bed" which was actually a "brass" bed with gold-polished bed posts, there was an uproar in the whole country, that the money was from Krobo Edusei..Turned out the money actually came from Mary's uncle... Mary had to return the bed, just to "eraze" the suspicion of corruption by Nkrumah's ministers and his government.
The above is just a tip of the iceberg of how Nkrumah ran his government at the time...
Today?...
What a shame and sham
Beats me
