  Ekow Mensah, the writer of this article doesn't seem to understand and/or what ACCOUNTABILITY means. The president as the leader of the country and state owned organisations and institutions is directly accountable to the citizens be it opposition or otherwise for incompetence, corruption, fraud, non-performance, etc decisions which occurs as a result of his decision either directly or indirectly.
  If Mahama appoints and/or condones with the appointment of incompetent, inexperienced, and riff-raffs into positions that they are not fit to be in (square pegs in round holes) such as the appointment of a highly inexperienced and incompetent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at GYEEDA who by virtue of his experience acquired over historic performance is supposed to be a strategic team member of the organisation but couldn't even manage a basic bookkeeping task, then who do you blame? the man on the street?
  Mahama himself and his team are highly incompetent and have performed DISMALLY so far. He displays his incompetence and fraudulent posture everyday such that (one wonders his performance in his role as Vice President, he seems to be preoccupied with amassing wealth and corruption only) as nothing seems to be functioning even if not efficiently at all since he fraudulently imposed himself on Ghanaians.
  Like the CFO at GYEEDA who admitted that he lacks experience and training, it is nonsensical to claim this in defence as if you lack experience why did he occupy position where his level of experience fits? But that is the nature of NDC and Mahama machinery in managing the country with inexperienced dimwits imposed on Ghanaians - Okudzeto- Ablakwa, E.T Mensah, Atubiga, etc. These are the people managing affairs in Ghana so what should we expect, death (in our school system, on our roads, through unemployment, etc) to the citizens of Ghana as a result of their incompetence

  How can anyone pretend the president did not know anything about this Gyeeda corruption. No one is giving him the blame. He is right at the center of everything. This degree of corruption cannot happen without his explicit instruction. The finance minister and the then sports ministers will all be involved. The gyeeda report does not go far enough. It will have to explain the role of the above mentioned individual and how they managed to stay asleep whilst all this stealing was going on.

Mahama's folly and mass stealing can only be ignored by the brain dead and those who do not know what they are talking about.I pity some people. They are in a half way house. Not totally insane so no treatment can be offered to them but still have the mental capability of a goat.

  IT is intriguing that the Mahama govt was quick to release a so-called report on malfeasance by tax collectors especially Customs and clearing agents and rather is procrastinating on the release of this GYEEDA report ... is there a conflict of interest ... who stands to gain from the two scenarios ... well the actors in the two plots may be the same ... will you blame the tax officials who collect the tax for others to chop big? A word to the wise is in the north!

  What else could the minister do? He opened a can of worms and found that is stank to the high heavens, all the way to the president's dorstep. Who else would he give it to? Those crooks mentioned in the report are his partners in the "Create, Loot and Share" criminal enterprise.
