People like Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe I believe is not his correct name should be living in fools paradise.He should go to the37 military hospital or go to the supreme court and file a motion that he does not believe the explanation as to what caused the death of our late president. As much as I agree with the core of the Professor's argument, I wish he had said the same to Pastor Otabil, following the Rev.'s recent series of utterances that many like me suspected was timed for the moment for a skewed partisan reason.

Similarly, while I agree with the Prof. on the question for any need for, and efficacy of , political prophecies and their interventions by these Pastors, I am suspicious of the Professor's choice to assail Owusu Bempah and not Otabil.

Following the Professor's reasoning, I think we all would have been spared much of the trouble the Nation has been through has our 'Powerful prophets' foreseen and intervened the atrocious bombings of the 60s, aimed at Kwame Nkrumah but killed many innocent people including children, the Coup that toppled Nkrumah, those which brought in Acheampong, and Rawlings, and other fatal hiccups in-between.

I have always wondered how much preaching these all-knowing, all-powerful Pastors do to their congregation to help guide them from disastrous political decisions and even some widespread anti-social injustice until a catastrophe occurs through the behavior of some folks either to advance that malfeasance ce or in reaction to it.

Timing of any public utterances in reaction to a canker that has been overlooked by the Clergy to continue too long could easily be flagged as suspiciously having a partisan bias attached.

It is the fault of the Pastors to be silent over a crucial problem during an Administration that enjoys their sympathies and vociferously erupt their criticisms of that problem on the term of another Administration they dislike for reasons other than pure performance.

This is why some of us believe these Pastors discriminate in their criticisms to favor their political factions instead of showing due neutrality and fairness, all to guarantee their parochial financial interests.

Long live Ghana!!!
