Retroactive punishment means a crime was committed in the first instance according to the Professor! And an admission that Akuffo Addo won the elections!

When an act which is not an offence, irregular or a violation or a misconduct or a crime at the time it was engaged in, later becomes deemed so by subsequent legislation or a ruling; then that legislation is in fact operating retrospectively retroactively.

As a simple illustration how was any voter to know that the pink sheet on which the tally of the votes would be recorded bore the same serial number as another polling stations? Consider also that both polling stations can be identified by accepted means such as polling station code, the name of the polling station, the names of the presiding officers.

Does the voter's action constitute a crime or violation in the first instance? Would not a ruling which annuls his vote be operating retroactively in an unfair manner.

Please professor, stringing along big words in incoherent sentences do not necessarily make sense. Learn to think in simple logical blocks and you will cure yourself of this quixotic delusion.

If those votes are annulled, aren't the voters being punished whether they voted for Akuffo Addo or Mahama? Complicity to commit electoral fraud is precisely what Bawumia and Addison have not alleged in Court.

If there were any irregularities, what proof do NPP has to tell voters that robbed / won election for Mahama instead of Nana. NPP and her faithfuls must stop day dreaming and give Ghana peace. The adage goes " God's time is the best" Okoampa is doing more harm to the party than good. May be if Nana wins, a ministerial appointment awaits him hence the fight with insults on a personality like Tsatsu. Insults should not be allowed. Okoampa should realize that he points one finger to Tsatsu but not less than three are pointing to him.
