We have to wait and see if the judges are brave enough to face the mirror or they will have to tilt the mirror to face them.
What ever happens in this case, it will spilt public opinion but that would not matter if the right thing is done.
Nature will surely hold the custodians of the law responsible if they fail to look beyond national interest rather than self accreditation.
However, if the judge decides to go with the latter, they must note that accreditation is awarded when services provided meets acceptable levels of quality.

More so from intellectuals, who should be in a position to separate the wheat from the chaff.
I have taken the trouble to read all the witten addresses, and notwithstanding the of 'razmattaz' accompanying one,in particular, the Justices, who are true to the law, should have little difficulty, coming to a fair and just decision,in less than an hour!
This country is naturally endowed with abundant resources, that need to applied to alleviate the 'suffering' of its citizens. But we have allowed ourselves to be constrained by the selfish desires of a small clique, that is prepared to wreck our collective prosperity,if it does not have its way. This 'tug of war'begun more than five and a half decades ago,and we can`t seem to terms with this obvious truth.

Dan, your article is a brilliant piece. We are all waiting to see if our Supreme Court judges will rise to the occasion at this momentous epoch of our national history. Whatever path they choose, by delivering justice without FEAR or FAVOUR or with FEAR or FAVOUR has far reaching consequences for our nation and our future. But when the rain falls it won't fall in one man's house, the judges should remember that.

Well written comments, but simply put the SC can only abide by the laws of Ghana. Do the laws allow for the annulment of votes for the (valid?)reasons given by the petitioners? Does the law recognise the Statement of Poll or the Declaration of Results
in the legitimacy/legality of declaring a candidate the winner?
As Ama has said, could these matters not have been determined in a far shorter time than the 8months gone by?
Can the National Poll be determined by one player's vested interest in selecting election administrative'errors' from his opponents stronghold? Should we then not look into the entire election results for 'errors'?

I strongly believe that Almighty God has touched you to say it all. I pray that the justices of the Supreme Court will read this article and really dispense justice without fear or favour. The future of Ghana is mostly dependent on them. The whole world watched the court proceedings live on various means of channels including highly levelled headed justices of the world so they should do the right thing by raising the standard of Ghana's judicial system to the highest level in the world. Ghana is made to always lead Africa. By doing the right thing, potential conflict zones as well as countries currently engulfed with war will learn from Ghana and tow the path of the court. In so doing, the justices of Ghana have immensely contributed to world peace.
