A professor is a scholarly teacher; the precise meaning of the term varies by country. Literally, professor derives from Latin as a "person who professes" being usually an expert in arts or sciences, a teacher of high rank.[1] In much of the world, including most Commonwealth nations (such as the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) and northern Europe professor is reserved only for the most senior academics at a university, typically a department chair, or an awarded chair specifically bestowed recognizing an individuaI at a university or similar institution. A professor is a highly accomplished and recognized academic, and the title is in most cases awarded only after decades of scholarly work to senior academics. In the United States and Canada the title of professor is granted to most scholars with doctorate degrees or equivalent qualifications (typically Ph.D.s) who teach in two- and four-year colleges and universities, and is used in the titles assistant professor and associate professor, which are not considered professor-level positions [2] in many other countries, as well as for full professors

Everybody is calling for all party in this case to accept the verdict but the NPP will not accept the verdict if it does not favour them.even though they didnt have enough evidence to proove their case but they are very sure that their case is base on solid evidence. it means that the NPP dont understand or dont want to understand that the NDC too can be right on this case. so how can they accept this verdict?
its the same call Ex-president kufour, president Rawlings, and even the great ASHANTEHENE call all party in the election to accept the result but what did we hear after that?because NPP is very sure that they are going to win the 2012 Election when the result did not go their ways this is where we found ourself in the SC.
they will not accept it because they dont understand why they lose the elections.
its the SAME

HOW CAN YOU AGREE WITH STATISTICALLY PATHETIC ADDISON ON THE ARGUMENT THAT THE NDC MAJORITY GOT LESS VOTES THAN THEIR NPP MINORITY COUNTERPARTS THEREFORE THERE WAS AN UNDER-DEALING FOR JM. ARE YOU MAD? DO YOU KNOW THAT SOMEONE COULD VOTE 'SKIT AND BLOUSE'. DO YOU KNOW THAT MANY PEOPLE ONLY VOTE FOR THEIR PREFERRED PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES AND GO WITHOUT VOTING FOR THE PARTY'S MP ASPIRANT? KEN AND NPP'S POOR LOGIC, SAYS TSATSU!

What message did this writer tried to put across? The article is materially empty, and if you like biased. We all watched the court proceedings live on TV and radios and though out the hearing the petitioners could not prove one single allegation of in court. Where they came close was Presiding officers not signing. But even there, the petitioners could not convinced anybody that similar ones did not occur in the remaining polling stations where the petitioners want the court use results from those stations to declare Nana the winner of the December 2012 polls

'Again, how could the respondents justify the fact that the votes of NPP minority in parliament were more than the NDC majority?'
This is simply explained. In a first past the post system as we have in the parliamentary elections, not all votes are equal. A candidate needs a simple majority of 1 vote or more to win a constituency. Once a candidate has a majority of the votes, any extra votes he has do not really matter.
NPP had huge majorities in Ashanti, and also parts of Eastern region. By contrast NDC won constituencies across the country with much smaller majorities, except in Volta region where it had large majorities. These large majorities were still no where near those of the NPP in Ashanti.
Hence, when one adds the NPP and NDC parliamentary votes across the country, it is plausible that the NPP vote could be larger than the NDC vote. This is accounted for by the heavy concentration of NPP votes in Ashanti.
This phenomenon is observed in the American presidential elections which is essentially a first past the post system of 50 states. Losing presidential candidates have been known to obtain a higher total vote than the winning candidate.

Jf you agree that simple majority is 50 plus 1 then it doesnt matter where the votes come from. Even the whole 50 plus 1 votes could come from Ashanti. Akufo Addo could have been President with all the votes coming from Ashanti unlike the US where the Presidency is determined by the electoral votes. AL Gore won the simple majority but lost the electoral votes to Bush. When Bush won Florida after the SC case he gained more electoral votes than Gore.
I hope it will help your understanding of the issues at stake.
