This national dialogue needs to be had and civil society which has become so politicised and for some a 'business' needs to get its act together and help us drive this message home to all politicians.

Please return with more like this !! But remember Ghanaians are very gullible and may substitute violence for usage of peaceful means of demonstrating their concerns.
The country has been going down and down despite so much natural and human resources to tap into.
None of the politicians really worths a penny. And the legal system which must punish those who steal and mismanage the country's resources itself is corrupt and turn deaf ears against those issues drummed out even in open forums. This is the worst I have seen this country plowed into and I am in my mid seventies.
I am yet to find one competent politician these days. I always wonder if these politicians are human beings or some sluts watching our deterioration - dirt and weedy surroundings, filth, unfinished projects, lack of water and electricity, neglect and heedless approach towards any problem ( God, they are Many !) Poor Stewardship !!!

It really is! Perhaps the only additional comment that needs to be made, is the brazen intrusion of our compromised media into the political fray. Totally ignoring the role assigned to it under our 4th Republican constituion, this new player, mainly the private media, has entered into an 'unholy alliance' with the main elements of the political class engaged in this phenomenon of "illegal political galamsey". Infact, many of our media houses and their reporters have gone far beyond playing the role of praetorian guards to becoming 'mercenaries' and 'proxy-fighters' for these "galamsey politicians"! Watch any TV/Radio programme on our airwaves today, and cannot miss this point I am making.
And they, in turn, have cultivated 'powerful allies' like the 'new clergy' that appears not to be content with limiting their activities to the niche market they have created for themselves in the area of 'prosperity ministry'!

You have my KUDOS for once but I would like to invite you to give comments on tribalism menace. It seems to me if we are open about ourselves and forget who comes from where Ghana will progress faster

The political situation in Africa is more complex than western countries because our evil politicians have managed to get their people polarised mainly on ethnic lines due to the high level of illiteracy on the continent.
