I personally believe your articles on this subject are unhelpful to the current process and our quest for peace following the verdict at the supreme court. You may feel very strongly about your arguments and I believe like many others (including myself), you have made your points about where you think the burden of proof (or the lack thereof) and the evidence lies. You have also clearly articulated your views about constitutional issues relating to voting and universal franchise.

What do you seek to gain by inciting the people of these regions and constituencies? Your approach is wrong, appalling and must be condemned in no uncertain terms. I am one of those who have argued against this petition and still believe that the balance of the arguments should be in favour of the original declaration. What I will never do however is to seek to whip up sentiments which could cause a disturbance of our peace were the verdict to go against my considered view.

What is it about this "win at all costs" mentality?
