  EVERY PRODUCTIVE AREA IS DECIPATING.
  ALMOST EVERY BODY IS CORRUPT.NOT ONLY IN GOVERMENT,EVERWHERE.
  THE ONLY THING THAT IS FLOURISHING IN GHANA TODAY IS POLITICS AND INDICIPLINE.I MEAN BAD POLITICS.
  THIS IS ALL BECAUSE AFTER J J THERE HAS NOT BEEN ANY LEADER OR PRESIDENT WHO CAN SPIT FIRE PERIODICALLY TO KEEP THE COUNTRY ON TRACK.BECAUSE THAT IS KIND OF LEADER WE IN AFRICA WANT.
  SEKOU IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.LIKE JUSTICE ATUGUBA SAID.I WISH JUSTICE ATUGUBA WAS THE PRESIDENT.I CAN FEEL IT THAT HE IS THE OF MAN WE NEED AS OUR PRESIDENT.
  HAS THERE NOT BEEN SOME MODERATE SANITY ON THE POLITICAL LOOSE TALKS,EVER SINCE THAT NPP ANIMAL WAS CONVICTED?

  You are right. The current NDC-NPP, neocolonial 'leadership' are fundamentally corrupt and visionless. They have made a pact with the western devil of, racist, globalised exploitation and under-development.
  
  This has guaranteed them security from western-insurgent removal from office. The west has bribed them to become multimillionaires and billionaires. Thus Ex Pres. Rawlings and Kufour are among Ghana's 10 richest people today!
  
  This has rendered both the NDC and NPP extremely lazy to dirty their hands with the harder political and economic work of mobilising our people to effect a Development and modernisation Programme.

  JJ was a good leader between 1982-1984. He showed practical leadership through athletic, courageous, omnipresent leadership in everything that was happening in that era:
  
  Cleaning toilets at Bokom, building railway lines, ambulancing accident victims at Kasewa, saving drawing children at Akoto Lante, mobilising PDCs and WDCs to clean our communities, speedily sending Black Star Line Ships to speedily evacuate expelled Ghanaians from Nigeria and Ivory Coast, etc. He was excellent.
  
  The trouble is he feared the west will eventually kill him. There had been over 13 coup attempts on his life. This is partly why he finally capitulated to the IMF-SAP. He agreed to the ridiculously stupid conditions of the IMF-SAP, which has ensured the west now controls all our key economic sectors (gold, diamond, oil, cocoa, Ghana Telecom, Ghana Airways, GIHOC Industries, State Farms, etc).
  
  This has had a devastating impact on the social, political, cultural and economic development of the Ghanaian poor masses. All the problems you list emerge from this historical analysis.
  
  Therefore, ironically, the most effective leader Ghana has had since Dr. Nkrumah, has became the most unpatriotic and dim-visioned leader we have ever got. He sold out to the very usurping western nations who enslaved, colonised and exploited our resources and people to the max.
  
  The reason everything is dissipating in Ghana, is because none of our leaders since Dr. Nkrumah has even seen the need to launch a Development and Modernisation Programme (DMP).
  
  Because Ghana cannot realistically borrow the billions of $s on the international financial market to achieve the objectives of a 10-15 year DMP, tI have suggested we nationalise our key economic sectors to fund it. (Read my articles on DMP for details of its benefits. I will be posting a detailed account of the pros and cons of nationalisation soon).

  You have given your opinion which everyone is entitled to but Ghanaians are so clever these days that whatever one says must be carefully written or thought of, and there are not many political speech writers around for presidents with the venoms of political science,the kind Dr Nkrumah had, if that is what Sekou was opining for. One thing people did not know was that, while Dr Nkrumah was bathing in those political speeches the corruptibles were at work all the time, siphoning money from the government coffers. Not many will remember the GOLD BED bought by YOU KNOW WHO that became the talk of town.I am referring to Mr. Krobo Edusei. He of course was the doyen of the Ashanti faction of the CPP.

  We need Technical Universities to offer professional programmes that will send Ghana to the next level. Academic programmes have failed Ghana because they inherently breed corruption and incompetence.
