Richard Nixon was advised not to mount a challenge in 1962 election after alleging of being robbed in Texas and Illinois.
That could have divided the country, brought a constitutional crises and given America black eye in the eyes of the world.
Al Gore had the same dose of medicine in 2000 in the recount in Florida-'what makes America great is that that unite us and not that that tears us apart and on the strength of that belief, I accept the decision however painful it is'.
Don't we have sensible leaders at home that would let the country come first instead of being selfish?

The Electoral Commissioner could not alter a result, thus, advising them to seek redress in court.

If the above is true then the NPP is full of stupid people then.You always complain about people taking bribes when things doesn`t go your way.
Your own trusted Agents at the polling stations were present and did nothing to complain about irregularities and failed to sign the sheets,and you later says they accepted bribes from the NDC.
What has that got to do with NDC when your greedy goons accepted bribes from them?

From the evidence and all that has gone on including the revelation that codes and not serial numbers as Bawumia thought were the identifiers of the pink sheets shows how immature the petitioners are. Any sound-minded person who is good in mathematics will realise that their statistics and request to annul 4million votes is corrupt and biased based. The court proceedings have made the international community aware of irregularities that can be found in even advanced countries so the demonstrations in London, USA and elsewhere will be seen by many patriotic citizens of Ghana as an attempt to feed the Western powers with lies similar to those fed to them by about 3 Iraqis who claimed to have seen programs for Weapons of Mass Destruction being developed and manufactured by Saddam Hussein which lead to the destruction of Iraq. Look at Iraq, Look at Libya and Look at Afghanistan. We will resist oppression and any sensible judge looking at the evidence will be telling the NPP that the EC is right to declare JM the president. That will be Justice. However if the judges go by their NPP affiliates to corrupt the judgement by demanding injustice then the JUDICIARY will have no respect from the people and their verdict will be ignored since it will be a slap in the face of justice and the nation will end up going to war as the NDC will refuse to be bullied. So far JM has respected the rule of law and with that we have all seen the evidence on TV and it is not enough so the wish of the NPP cannot and will NOT be granted.

Remember what Tsatsu said that over voting also occurred in Bantama etc so it was out of "BAD FAITH" that the petitioners have come to court. Till date that is the only grounds on which they are praying the judges to throw away the petition; BAD FAITH.
I would have been happier if they are able to discount the fact that there were no irregularities etc, but they couldn't. So even though even though I cannot be emphatic, the respondents have not been able to convince me.
the mere fact that Tsatsu conceded that irregularities occurred in the Ashanti region is enough admission that the elections were fraught with problems which cannot be aaccepted just like that.

Not only Tsatsu but Afari Djan himself made sterling admissions which to me are baffling: Listen to Afari Djan:

*"I will allow well known figures to Vote-Without [bio-metric] verification," Afari-Djan:*; *"We did not have enough money for the election," Afari-Djan:*

Ask the whole country and every Ghanaian if anybody raised any objection at the end of the elections on the voting day. Let me refreshen your memory; we all went to the polling station, took our places in the queue, seven oclock the EC officials started the process, they showed everybody the empty ballot boxes, voting started and ended at six.Those in the queue cast their votes and the counting started at the polling station in the clear view of those present. We all knew various personalities and representatives of all the parties waited from beginning to end of proceedings.Everything went well and nobody anywhere in Ghana complained except where for some reasons voting could not come on. If there were any problems whatsoever they would have come out on the very day of voting. This fake problem only came out when one party did everything not to accept the defeat.Two people cannot win it should be one person. The same EC that has given power to NPP in 2000 and 2004 ( I have my personal reservation with 2004election anyway )is the same institution that pronounced NDC the winner. Why cant NPP see reason and accept defeat. Well since it has gone to court , lets wait for the judgement and then we would continue. No insult whatsoever we are one and the same people, atime will come CPP will come back and these two parties would be in the darkness.Wait and see.

We are today at the crossroad as a nation because of the desire of one individual to become president at all cost.What will be the outcome of the SC ruling and how will the nation Ghana be like afterwards? Where was Akufo-Addo and his group able to prove that Prez Mahama actually condoned and connived with the EC to rig the 2012 polls?
