I have no hope for this country and we shall wallow in perpetual mediocrity for a long time to come. Let me add two things of my own. First I have wondered why this whole exercise became a game ball for lawyers? In my view we should have simply taken all 260000plus pink sheets both signed and unsigned by part agents and trace each one to the final results. This will take a team of three only half a days work on the computer. This will have determined that the results declared reflected the votes cast. I believe this should have been done before on to all the other issues. Secondly the veiled tribalistic nature of the decisions of the 9 is not only frightening to me but sickening

Politics is a game of numbers old man. I hope the new crop of NPP leaders will be bold to cast your types aside and far from the party affairs. It should be easy because as you had written in one of your numerous articles, that serving mother Ghana instead of the USA will be considered too low for you.

It's amazing that it took the SC such a long time to come out with this simple verdict, which was quite predictable from the onset. Corruption has engulfed almost all the institutions in Ghana, and it was thought that the SC would use this opportunity to send strong signals to all the other institutions out there; but it failed miserably.

In my view, the SC tried to portray a false sense of authority by summoning and punishing people for contempt of court, which shot its image to the heights,only to shoot it down below the original position by coming out with this simple-minded verdict- too bad.

Where is the electoral reforms going to come from by this decision that has held indiscipline, disrespect for constitutional order and corruption in high esteem?

Hence forth, I am sorry to observe that people who would be dragged to the SC would have nothing to fear - it would be the same old story - corruption galore!
