Bokor argues as a typical partisan. Only simpletons will be swayed by his arguments.

1. Most Ghanaians who are going to vote (not Bokor) don't care about the intricacies of this case. They are not going to remember what Bawumia did wrong or right in his testimony. The only thing they will remember is that Bawumia was the opposition's star witness. They will remember him for that.

2. In politics, comebacks are very common. Bawumia didn't commit a crime from which he cannot quickly recover. Testifying for the opposition in a doomed case is not a criminal offence. If Bawumia plays his cards well, he can come back stronger than ever. Many non-Akan non-matemeho Ghanaians know that he didn't do anything wrong. That alone can give him their sympathy votes in a general election.

3. NDC's victory is not predicated on the fact that they, as a party, are better than NPP. They are not. When Ghanaians are fed up with them, they will boot them out and Bawumia is as good as Mahama or any other person to lead the country.

4. Bawumia's only real problem is his relationship within the core Busia-Danquah-Dombo group. He doesn't really belong there and the fact that he is not Akan will go against him. But the core Busia-Dombo group is seeing that they cannot always have their way. They are not stupid. They will learn and if they have strong reasons to believe that it is only Bawumia who will deliver them the government they so much desire, they will go for him as President and control him - just as the Nkrumaist elements did with Limman in the Third Republic. But Bawumia will have to fairly fight his way to the top in NPP. It will be wrong just to make him a de facto next presidential candidate. In politics, things change and change drastically.

- Filth and poor sanitation all over Ghana

- Effects of reducing secondary schooling from 4 to 3 years again

- the indebtedness of $8.1 Billion used to finance NDC 2012 Elections

- Poor economy; bankruptcy; low agricultural policy; electricity cuts; water shortages and more unemployment ...bread and butter issues now....

- Fulfilling lavish promises: In Cape Coast we are waiting for NDC promises of building the Sports Stadium, Teaching Hospital, Market, Slavery Library and solving the unemployment galore in a town of able bodied beggars

- Dealing with teeming masses of unemployment of NDC supporters throughout the country

- Solving problems for once than all the jaw jaw and personality driven politics NDC scholars know best

NDC wont divert attention again from the reality of governance to empty and jaundiced political semantics

There was no evidence of any solid and concrete achievement when they ruled Ghana for 19 years, and sold all our state properties, as well as destroying our education system...BUT NOT Again!

If Bokor is intelligent and if he is to throw away his NDC garb, he would realise that the majority of the judges granted one infraction or the other that the petitioners put before them.It is clear that indeed the majority of them agreed that there were statutory violations, malpractices and ommissions etc. Put another way if the question is asked were there, malpractices, violations and ommissions the majority of the judges answered, yes. I will urge Bokor to study the voting pattern of the judges to prove me wrong.

This brings me to the rather hackneyed used of "mate me ho" to whip NPP and anybody who is NPP. Can Bokor tell us what was so abhorrent about "mate me ho"? NLM, that is associated with "mate me ho" argued strongly for semi-autonomous regional authorities and not secession.

He was ridiculed by Mr. Aseidu Nketia when he (Nketia) asked to borrow Mr. Bawumia's calculator during cross examination. This is a guy who once occupied a high position at the Bank of Ghana and yet do not not understand the rules governing errors on written checks.
