That being the case, why should you be bothered by what Okoampa writes or says? Aren't you contradicting yourself? Okoampa has God given rights to think and write how he pleases and feels, he is not here to turn you into his disciple. If you were that gifted, you will also point to the gazillion of vitriols that emanate from Ewe-fuos on this forum. Don't tell Okoampa to hold his punches if you are going to close your eyes to the insulting and instigating writings that emanate from Ewes and their sympathisers on this forum. Go give your advice to Michael Bokor Haram before you come to Okoampa. Every body makes comments here but Okoampa purposely makes it a point to pour more fuel into the fire and also tries very hard to separate Akans from other tribes. He has also done a good job making it clear that the NPP is an Akan party.

We don't see the Creative Writing and Journalism, etc, etc anymore. What is that about with this professor with ultra intelligence? Has he been stripped by his employer?

2. My personal reflections tell me that Okoampa has personal grudge against Akuffo Addo due to his calumny and constant aspersions he casts on NPP's perceived enemies and anyone holding different opinions of Akuffo Addo. I'm saying this because by his calcualted insults, Okoampa drives and alienates many people away from the NPP and Akuffo Addo, thus making it impossible for their leader to win elections. Journalism goes hand-in-hand with Public Relations (PR) and therefore, claiming to be a Journalism professor should have informed this smarty punk that he is doing a bad PR job to market his client (s), NPP and Akuffo Addo.I know Okoampa has anger problem but he also comes across as dumb person, or he secretly hates or envies Akuffo Adoo, thus his agenda to undermine him by driving people away from the NPP with insults and direct attacks.

He wrote more than 15 books that diagnosed the African condition. Beisdes, more than NINETY-SIX books have been written about Nkrumah! As for articles, that make reference to his works, they run into the THOSANDS!

Okoampah, Danquah contributed to the growth of nationalism in Ghana, but would NEVER MEASURE up to Nkrumah!

I am a regular visitor to this Website gtoo and I am always at a loss what comes upon this Prof to write the way and manner he does. Some of us have engaged him and I must confess I am among a few that he had engaged by responding to my comments. He nornally does not respond to comments, which tells me that either he does not care or he enjoys the negative comments. Almost all the comments on his articles are negative. Don't hold your breath, Tony he will not change, tribal animosity (among other negative character traits of his) is apparently part of his DNA. For now, at least someone has called him out openly.

2. I may disagree with Okoampa regarding certain issues, but he says it as it is. We Ghanaians hate the truth. Yes, there is tribalism all over Ghana and instead of discussing it, we prefer to cuddle it.

3.If you can attack Okoampa for being a tribalist - anti-Ewe and anti-Northerner, find time to call to order those who call Akans monkeys, baboons, ugly, etc.

4. Writing is a craft. Okaompa's writing is devoid of grammatical infelicities. In fact, I can say that I prefer Okoampa's craft to yours because you are too literal and dull in your expressions!

5. Use the quotation below from your own work to find your humanity: balance and objectivity:

Akadu, name the Ewes and Northners that write articles to attack Akans as an ethnic group on this forum. We are not talking about comments but intentional articles to speed up the division in Ghana. Bokor constantly attacks Nana and the NPP but not Akans as a tribe. There is one Northner who used to attack Asantes in his writing from Obuasi but he hasn't written any of such in a long time now.

Every tribe is guilty of making comments on this site but when it comes to writing articles you two are the most guilty.

Whatever you wrote about our renowned writer is perfectly right! I'm talking about this PhD writer, Okoampa-Ahoofe who ostentatiously concludes his articles by mentioning the number of books he has written-I believe he's the only person in this world who has that number of books under his pen name!
I wonder if there are any Ghanaians who do learn something from his articles that quite often appear on ghanaweb. What knowledge does he impart to his readers and to Ghanaians
as a society? What is the purpose of writing? Is it to show off a style of verbosity and long sentences? Good writers observe the make-up of a society and use that as a research
laboratory to help cure its ills.
What amazes me is his special hatred for Nkrumah! He always lays ambush to wait for somebody to give credit to Nkrumah for him to leash his wrath on the man. On the other hand, he'd rather heap encomia on his hero, Joseph Danquah whom the British found out that despite his intellect, he could be dribbled easily and that they saw him as a toy to play with. The British conferred the name "doyen of Ghana politics" on him so that he could be fooled with swollen headedness. Left to Danquah and his accomplices, Ghana would still be ruled by the British. Could our renowned professor be bold and bring out through his writings the legacies his hero, Danquah left for Ghana other than worshipping and begging to negotiate with his colonial masters for reforms? I have been waiting for Okoampa-Ahoofe to write with honesty and let Ghanaians know what his hero did for Ghana instead of vaguely calling him "the doyen of Ghana politics."
Perhaps he can argue that his hero helped establish Legon. That cannot be denied. However, what type of curricula did the British prescribe?
