No matter the lies and deceit some facts are evident and the people have woken up to the reality .One mans reality is another's madness. Hegemony you can only fight with hegemony , tribalism with tribalism , chauvinism with chauvinism and if you dont fight or adopt the attitude of turning the other cheek you run the risk of your children being enslaved or ending up like second class citizens in their own country like indians in latin america today . We Akans realise these ugly truths and the agenda of the ayigbe toxic program and their pepeni / islamic agenda of enslave the Akan ,deny all rights of self governance etc etc . we have no choice but to fight back and even if it means sacrificing a generation in war we are ready . in fact the whole world knows its now only a matter of months when the shooting actually begins as the injustice today is unbearable . they steal our money in broad day light going for loans and taking bribes from all sources but let their partners in crime know we will not pay these loans especially since there was no benefit in any of these things for the Akans and were approved by a minority govt that has no respect for the majority . this govt has lost all credibility , claiming a throne does not make you a king , we do not recognize this govt and its nothing but a pest . Imagine the nations of the west such as the Americans etc better understand us than our so called neighbors pepeni and ayigbe , just analyze the the insults as its an expression of whats deep down in their black hearts of ignorance,we definately have no business staying in the same country talk less same destiny, long live the republic of Akan

But what I have learnt from Francis Kwarteng is about the distinctions of attacking what is contained in one's comment and that of the personality.
Tsatsu remains the greatest in making sound reasoning and in the power of logical interpretation. He is feared by his critics as it has become apparent.
But this author too, you can write paaaaa, even the part-1 was such that all the critics were left without anything to say than to insult. And they still continue to insult, what a group of insulting rats?

We cannot afford to have corrupt, bigots and ethno-politico bias judges sit in the Judiciary and feel comfortable with the obvious bigotry.
And on this note, Ghanaians should rather rally behind the legal Brain Tsatsu to undo them now.

This is a quote from this article. The writer wants us to consult Bokor's article "Tsatsu Is An Ant..And An Ant Stings." That is fine with me, but the question is,
1- How did this Writer, "Kwarteng, Francis" managed to know and read about Bokor's article that simultaneously appeared with his own article today?
2- This writer signs off " I shall return," the same way Bokor signs off his articles- "I shall return."
Just read BOKOR's Article and draw your own conclusion. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know this. I knew all the time that Bokor was not smart anyway. He is a moron who can't organize an orgy in brothel.
And why do they always have to "steal" Akan names to write something against the Akans, trying hard to bring Asantehene's name? COWARDS.

Please stop this praise worship nonsense. If Tsatsu was such a genius why did he use the "kangaroo" courts- the infamous people's court to ensure conviction and in some cases summary execution of Ghanaians in the AFRC/PNDC era. Frankly I am quite disappointed with the intellectual laziness gaining root in our Ghanaian society.
Any sensible person who followed the case with a shred of jurisprudencial exposure, knew NPP had a weak case. Frankly I was surprised the case dragged on for nine months. Had Tsatsu and his team been that competent, this case wouldn't have lasted a month. In my estimation, NPP lost the case not by any stroke of genius from Tsatsu. They had a poor legal strategy coupled with weak evidence to back their case.
The case is over, lets not dwell on the outcome because Nana Akoffo-Addo who stood to gain from an alternate outcome, has respectfully accepted the verdict. Lest leave NDC and solve our problems as they promised. They have the ball and we will not accept any loss in this economic game.

The only reason why this interesting article fails to be a masterpiece is because the writer seeks to justify the unjustifiable. Party affiliation aside, it is totally absurd for any well-meaning Ghanaian to endorse Tsikatas's reckless comments which have tended to undermine the credibility and integrity of the Supreme Court and consequently its ruling on the petition.
At the end of the day, how do we move forward as one nation if a renowned and celebrated lawyer like Tsatsu Tsikata makes such dangerous comments and refuses to show any remorse.
I expect NDC members to condemn his remarks and call him to order instead of trying to sing his praises.

May be it's like 'in the country of the blind the one-eyed man is the king.'
Tsatsu Tsikata is not better than the the other lawyers who were at the hearing. What he mainly did at the hearing was the exhibition of his arrogance, pomposity, crudeness and uncivility.
There was nothing execelent about his performance at the election petition.

Stupid Tsatsu with his chicken brains think the judges can remove John Mahama the man the SC itself made the president.
Supreme Court dont change their decisions when made, that is why we call it Supreme (God like) Court. God dont change his decision no matter what like our SC dont change its decision was made.
January 2013 was when the SC decided JM should be the president.
Tsatsu chicken brains is making it as if he has decided John Mahama should be the president by fighting for him in court, but not true.
Our SC made the decision in January not 29/08/2013. If SC remove JM as president will ghana have a SC again? NO because SC can only make one decision and when made shall never be change. They decide in January whether wrong or right cant never be change.

Your piece would have been a master piece, but for your decison to include the comment you purportedly wrote to Bokor's. Your point about the need to appreciate and embrace our diversity as Ghanaians and to applaud Ghanaian talents regardless of ethnicity and region was well illustrated. That said, I disagreed that the 'towering intellect of Tsastus tored the petitioners solid case' as you alluded. I hardly saw anything extraordinary from Tsastu during the trail. He spent the bulk of his cross-examination seeking to demonstrate that the petitioners deliberately piled up duplicate pink sheets in order to decieve the court. He still stood by this even when it was held by the court that the petitioners had file more than necessary. There was no single standing moment in the Tsastu's cross-examination, except when he told Addison to shut up. In contrast, Addison had some standing moments both in his cross-examination of Aseidu Nketia and Dr. Afari Gjan. In short, Tsastu and for that matter Tony Lithur or EC's lawyer did ver little to influence the verdict. The onus as usual simply rested on the petitioner's lawyers to prove their case and unfortunately they had no case at all. It is a common knowldge that sometimes culprits are acquitted when prosecutors fail to prove beyond reasonable doubts that they have indeed perpetrated the crime in question. May be, I was expecting to see much from Tsastu, given the endless praises we have heard about his unique legal brains, hence, the reason I am least impressed about his performance.

The writer does have some impressive literary potential but his logic is severely jaundiced. The sources of a person's quotations are not invalidated by reference to the character of the speakers or the context of their societies....and wisdom, no matter where it originates from, must be appreciated by those who are wise. Ours is not a perfect world and our heroes are not angels. Thus to provide a catalogue of books from which an author must quote without raising any specific objection to the things he quoted other than the character of the speakers or the degeneracy of their societies smacks of the puerile and the presumptuous. The writer's world is all four corners of the world and he/she should be able to quote from wherever he/she wants without restricting the cites to only Black writers....
And concerning Tsatsu's matter, I strongly disapprove of what he said but I will die to defend his right to say it! The disparity in the discourse happens when the same people here hailing Tsatsu's comments don't see anything wrong with the jailing of others for saying similar things, and go to great strengths to ascribe imaginary distinctions between what elicited contempt for Kuranchie, Owusu Afriyie and the others and why Tsatsu's statement is not contemptuous. The freedom of speech should not be seen through partisan or ethnic prism...for that view distorts everything and everyone.
As Ghanaians extol the trite and the tawdry for the classic and the genius, some of us are soundly appalled and merely call for a sense of proportion and the type of balanced analyses that are based on principles of impartiality and deep commonsense. For our nation is suffused with too many cheerleaders whose stock in trade is to turn lapdogs into tin-gods as if the purpose of all their existence is to be servilely subservient to the presumed superiority of some imaginary personages.

judicial in-justice(corruption) is a real cancer within the judiciary, and it aught to be wiped.
in most cases, you don't have to be brilliant at the law to win cases, instead your relationship with the judge or how much you can give by way of bribe is what would carry the day.
it was glaring to ordinary folks like me during the petition hearing; who was the real lawyer; it was obvious: mr. tsatsu tsikata was the man.
if tsatsu with all this knowledge and years of experience won't stand up to these bigots, then ordinary folks like me are doomed; justice to the highest bidder, or cronies etc.
but the light of freedom has begun to shine. tsatsu has taken up a fight, and we'll rally solidly behind this just course. why? because injustice and bigotry must give way to freedom and justice.
i want to bequeath to my children a nation in which he/she would be judged, not by the who they're but by the content of their character.
the fight has just begun.

It's why Africa is not moving at the pace some of us want. It also explains why we cannot trasition smoothly from theory to praxis. Showing the other side of the personalities from which the accounting-turned-professor liberally quoted, merely demonstrated that the personalities and societies whence his quotations came were, largely, not "better" than ours. Judicatory politics and biases are just as rampant here in the United States (where I have lived for 16 yrs)as in Ghana. In fact, it's even worse here than in Ghana. I have many lawyer friends, black and white, and I, like many others, know what is happening here. Plus, some of the quotes never worked or applied here, so why did he refuse to demonstate to Ghanaians how they were to apply them? He attacks Justice Atuguba on the issue of "contempt of court" citing precedents from the UK, but doesn't give records judiacial "gag" precedents from the UK. My email is franciskkwarteng@yahoo.com. Send me a request and I shall send you a recent case from the UK where a court placed a "gag" order on a defense pending the prosecution of his case. Ghanaians are tot stupid, you know. Our Western education does not necessarily make us more intelligent than those at home. This was what I saw in the accounting-turned-professor. Merely quoting will not always get us to where we want to be. The people we even quote from don't have any regard for our ideas. Try as much as possible not to read outside contexts of situations. As an aside, my background is not law; it's mathematics, engineering, and accounting.
Anyway, you also have some impressive literary potential.
