Ghanaians are not stupid. Even if most are not within power cycle and dont know what is going on we can atleast read the articles online and the divisive comments in the media.

I can tell you if Kronfuor Kuffuor had not 'tribalized' and allowed Ethnocentrism to cloud his leadership then, The Ghanaian Jews and others would have by now changed their voting pattern for not against NPP.

We still and shall always remember the obvious, consistent and persistent accolades and preferences given to asantehene under Kuffour ignoring other KINGS in GHANA.

Yawose, if you are blind enough to have forgotten the plain tribalism, bigotry which went under Kuffuor, I put it to you that most of us have not forgotten.

If Akuffo Addo is struggling to become president of Ghana, then you know that it was the maladroit administration of Kuffuor.

During the last year or so its has become clear to almost every child the ethnocentric racist anti Akan vicious propaganda directed mainly against the innocent Ashanti and Akyems .Even here on this forum we witness the daily insults , defamation and systematic character assination of any Akan leader who dares raise his voice to cry foul. The Akans lead by the Fantis are fighting back just as they in the early 90's with prof eduboahen and this happened last year after the murder of Mills. these ewe and northerners think if they bribe a few paramount chiefs and buy off Akuffo Addo as they have done they can go back to the business of looting the coffers but not so . They are overwhelmed by the resistance which is being lead by the family heads and the clans . since most the people here writing under false Akan names dont see the difference continue to harass the ashantis and akyems who by the way rarely ever contribute anything to this forum . this prof awonoor has mislead his people into a war they will surely loose , battle after battle they are pounded and bashed , the sophistication of their devious divide and rule strategy has been exposed and backfired ,today the Akans are more united than ever so much so the the Ashantis and akyems no more participate but are standing on the sidelines watching as they are surprised at the fury and determination of the rest of the Akans to rid themselves of this yoke of oppression. Akans will never peacefully accept to be second class citizens like the Indians in Latin America and fight the hegemony and tribalism with these same tools rather than just brushing it off and pretending it doesn't exist . the battle-lines have been drawn in the minds of every Ghanian and as things escalate the business of governance is slowly grinding to a halt soon from verbal warfare we move to open rejection of the govt of the day which will most likely end up in true war . we can not build and develop a sustainable economy if the ayigbe and pepeni can only be focused on the destruction of the Akans and looting the wealth of the nation , sadly when we say this all they say is that their hate is justified and their time has come to chop some . let it be known Akans make up almost 70% of the population, have 90% of the wealth and natural resources and that this govt that practically has less than 10% Akan participation is illegitimate and even the foreign banks and investors have noticed this and are withdrawing , the rest like the Chinese , Indians , Muslim Lebanese and Turkish will soon risk never being paid . billions have been borrowed but nobody has seen any benefits but it has ended up in the bottomless pits of the greed of the ndc pepeni and ayigbe . we propose secession as a peaceful exit to this mess , if persuasion fails force will be applied , long live the republic of Akan

Minority tribes(Ewes and Northerners) are very ungrateful to Ghana. No tribe, since Ghana's independence from the British, has benefited more from the national cake than Ewes and Northerners, yet they blame the majority( Ashanti's in particular) for the economic woes of the nation when even the records show that for well over 50 years after independence the minority has had more than 70% chance of ruling. It all stated with Nkrumah when he gave free education to the entire North at the expense of hard working majority through whose cocoa farming industry the free education was made possible. Nkrumah, as a means to make himself the life president, thus the declaration of a one party state, saw the need to break the united front of Ashantis and the other minority tribes. He thereby decided to redemarcate the regions which saw parts of Ashanti region fall into the territorial jurisdiction of Brong and Central regions. Divide and rule was the order of the day. And what was more risible was the fact that when Nkrumah divided Ghana, he was busily trotting around the Globe rallying for continental Africa unity. What is more hypocritical than that.
Then came the turn of Rawlings who also made the Ashantis his target while pursuing the divide and rule tactics. Rawlings regime saw all scholarships go to the Ewes and Northerners for the near 20 years of his autocratic rule. He made sure the heads of all state institutions were his tribesmen. The then 3-state Universities( Legon, Tech and Capevas) all had Ewes as Vice Chancelors).
And for Mahama only God knows what the fate of Ghana would be for next three years ahead. Talk about the 250 cuban scholarships, the Azontaba Farm project, the 80 million worth of gold ore that landed in Turkey, the fishy deal of acquiring the Brazilian embraer air planes, the rot at GYEEDA, you name them. My heart breeds for Fantis, Bonos, the Nzemas, the Gas who, just like the Ashantis, are denied their fair share of Ghana's largesse except the greedy few Akans in the NDC( Asidu Nketia, Tony Aidoo, Ahwois, Boateng Gyan, Afari Gyan, PV Obengs, etc). Wake up Akans, for Ewes and The North minority are taking us for a ride.

Your party both in the past and present has unlike the NDC felt that it is only Akans who are worthy of leadership as confirmed by Nana Akuffo-Addo.

I saw just a little bit of Pres. Nkrumah era,that of Prime Minister Busia, Col.Acheampong,Gen. Akuffo. In all these respective Govts. the word tribalism wasn't in the vocabulary of Ghanaians as we all lived as one people, one nation, with one common destiny and that is the reason why JJ's emergence was received by every Tom,Dick,and Harry just to achieve one common goal,that is the upliftment of mother Ghana. In order to have peace in this country,why don`t you try telling your crappy leaders to behave like civilised people towards other tribes?
It`s the ultrances of these so-called leaders that makes your party unattractive and unelectable and NOT the other way round.

Until this attitude of theirs changes for the better, others will emulate it no matter how bad you think it is.I dont believe in ethnocentric culture and will fight it with guys like you but let us advise our folks.

The EWES, GAs, FANTES, ASHANTIS all look down on Northeners traditionally. Similarly each of the northern tribes traditionally look down upon southernes. It is natural. So all tribes are guilty. But NDC play the game as if only ashantis look down on other tribes. Thats the dishonesty. Thats the jealousy. Thats the hatred.

Those who are doing this should know that even if they die their bodies would be exhumed and burnt in the open to disgrace and whatever honour or property acquired would be confiscated to the state. We need one Ghana and one people. Blame NPP woes on the Ashantis/Akyems who have given bad names to other tribes. Names like pepeni, trokesi, etc, were not given to the tribes by NDC. That is the cause of NPP woes not the work of NDC.

I cannot imagine that educated people are arguing like this: that minority tribes want to sideline Ashantis. This can only be said by ignorant and naïve individuals. Those who believe Ashantis are being sidelined are half-baked, reprobate individuals. Even a JHS pupil in Ghana knows that in every region, the two parties are well represented and struggle for power every four years. Can't you see the trend of events the past years? NDC and NPP have been alternating in leadership. when NDC rules for two years, NPP takes over. That has been the trend. Why is that NPP Ashantis do not want NDC to go the second term? Is it because Mahama is a northerner according to your reasoning? And let ask you: How many northers or Ewes have ruled Ghana Rawlings? Just because a northerner is ruling, Ashantis are down: how can a pepefuo rule us? Is that not the question? Why is Mahama's presidency such a pain in people's hearts? Beginning from Nana-Addo to the illiterate NPP Ashanti, it seems a disaster for a northerner to rule. I am forced to say so because that is your reasoning.
You better stop thinking that the Northerner or Ewe has nothing to offer. The fact is that if the northerner had got the chance that Ashantis had before I think no Ashanti man would have got the chance to rule - once again, according to reasoning of some of you.
Look so many northerners voted for Kuffuor to win. But it seems to me that no Ashanti would vote for NDC! Look let us stop playing these ethnic cards, because they are more destructive than constructive.
