Why we think the woman should continue to hate Akuffo Addo knowing very well that in politics there is not permanent enemy?

Many of us did not like the former First Lady forming her own party but let us not forget that the NDC belongs to her than to many of us and let us not forget that we are the beneficiaries of her toil so far as NDC is concerned.

What is wrong if in the past she said Akuffo Addo was not a lawyer but now say he is a lawyer?

If we are talking about peace and she took the lead to visit Akuffo addo and offered to visit the president then is it not something we should all be grateful to her for doing, is it not in the interest of unity of NDC for the presidency to quickly reach out to her which could bring unity in the NDC?

The trouble that this woman has caused people politically is so huge that it would surpeise people if it was made public. Most of Jerry Rawlings harshest decision were made at the behest of his wife. This woman could get cabinet members fired without heistation. For all his tough talk, Jerry's number one weakness was his wife. Her ambition has blinded her and has made he lose her way. She has completely lost it.

Listen, you're at liberty to reward Mrs. Konadu's backstabbing, blackmailing and betrayals but please stop speaking in plural terms because not all of us fancy her adventures and overtures to the most dangerous politician (Akuffo Addo) in our time. Her husband is an ex army officer so go ask him what the army does to traitors (like his wife). There is nothing peaceful about those two entities and therefore to say she visited Akuffo Addo because of peace building is neither her nor there. Akuffo Addo would have come back to Ghanaians to apologize, denounce and renounce his foolish and devisive all die be die and yen Akan war cries, as well as those of Kennedy Agyapong, Ursula Owusu, Samuel Awuku, etc, if he really wants to be taken seriously as a man of peace. Mrs. Konadu on the other hand, wouldn't be making those outrageous statements if she were really after peace. Both are repugnant and opportunistic individuals who must be discarded by all discerning and peace loving Ghanaians.

During the last year or so its has become clear to almost every child the ethnocentric racist anti Akan vicious propaganda directed mainly against the innocent Ashanti and Akyems .Even here on this forum we witness the daily insults , defamation and systematic character assination of any Akan leader who dares raise his voice to cry foul. The Akans lead by the Fantis are fighting back just as they in the early 90's with prof eduboahen and this happened last year after the murder of Mills. these ewe and northerners think if they bribe a few paramount chiefs and buy off Akuffo Addo as they have done they can go back to the business of looting the coffers but not so . They are overwhelmed by the resistance which is being lead by the family heads and the clans . since most the people here writing under false Akan names dont see the difference continue to harass the ashantis and akyems who by the way rarely ever contribute anything to this forum . this prof awonoor has mislead his people into a war they will surely loose , battle after battle they are pounded and bashed , the sophistication of their devious divide and rule strategy has been exposed and backfired ,today the Akans are more united than ever so much so the the Ashantis and akyems no more participate but are standing on the sidelines watching as they are surprised at the fury and determination of the rest of the Akans to rid themselves of this yoke of oppression. Akans will never peacefully accept to be second class citizens like the Indians in Latin America and fight the hegemony and tribalism with these same tools rather than just brushing it off and pretending it doesn't exist . the battle-lines have been drawn in the minds of every Ghanian and as things escalate the business of governance is slowly grinding to a halt soon from verbal warfare we move to open rejection of the govt of the day which will most likely end up in true war . we can not build and develop a sustainable economy if the ayigbe and pepeni can only be focused on the destruction of the Akans and looting the wealth of the nation , sadly when we say this all they say is that their hate is justified and their time has come to chop some . let it be known Akans make up almost 70% of the population, have 90% of the wealth and natural resources and that this govt that practically has less than 10% Akan participation is illegitimate and even the foreign banks and investors have noticed this and are withdrawing , the rest like the Chinese , Indians , Muslim Lebanese and Turkish will soon risk never being paid . billions have been borrowed but nobody has seen any benefits but it has ended up in the bottomless pits of the greed of the ndc pepeni and ayigbe . we propose secession as a peaceful exit to this mess , if persuasion fails force will be applied , long live the republic of Akan

You are here always insulting Rawlings and Konadu, the founders of your party. How many times have you seen or heard NPP folks insulting the architects of their party?

CORNEY is right, without Nana Konadu, many of you would not have been here singing the praise of NDC. From 2000, when there was no hope for NDC, it was NANA KONADU and her 31st movement that carried the fight to the NPP, not even Rawlings and certainly, not Atta Mills, the useless President we had ever had in our body politic.

It is easier for you to call her a traitor, but forgetting how she was abused and insulted by the greedy bastards just because she decided to challenge Mills in the primaries. Yes, both of them talked about corruption that was destroying the NDC under Mills, which some of you denied. But God no be Alata man, corruption is like pregnancy, it can't be hidden and we have seen it all- Judgement debt upon judgement debt, GYEEDA, SADA, Alg, etc..

Are you not amazed that, NDC can't talk about corruption anymore but always on Akufo Addo and Asante this and Akyem that?

How principled have you been since 2001 when your NPP sacked fellow Ghanaians from their employment, under the guise of " proceed on leave" all due to either their tribe, ethnicity or political affiliations? How principled were you between 2001-2009 when your NPP dragged Mrs. Konadu to court accusing her of theft by alleging that she stole the Nsawam Canary? How often did you empathize or show solidarity by accompanying her to court or came to Ghanaweb asking your NPP to leave her alone or asking those who called her a thief to leave her alone? Listen, you can choose to be nameless on Ghanaweb but one fact stands tall that can't be undermined and that is the fact that you're standing with Mrs. Konadu today because her utterances go to benefit the NPP. Her credibility is however, zipped because there is no way any discerning person will dismiss NPP's allegation that she is a murderer and that a car key used to convey the murdered judges and the army officer was found on her dining table. Or she is no more a thief and a murderer because of her wishy-washy and hobnobbing with Akuffo Addo? We the Techiman-Bonos have a saying that if the head of the yam is not good, the bottom is certainly not good either, for Nana Konadu can't be a thief and a murderer yesterday and be a Saint
today simply because she is undermining the NDC. Now, can you point out to me where and when I came here insulting the NPP for its hypocritical attempts to gag Nyaho, Pianiam and Arthur K? I don't care a hoot about the happenings in your NPP; I certainly, however, vehemently reject NPP's double standards and hypocrisy and lack of tolerance. NPP speaks of freedom of speech and democracy but can't tolerate divergent opinions and freedom of speech among themselves. Ever heard the NDC suspending Mrs. Konadu or her husband for making their minds known about the NDC? Can same be said of the NPP? How come the NPP declared a Fatwa on Haruna Esseku? How about the aspersions, insults and name callings on Arthur K and Nhayo, culminating in Wereko Brobbey's suspension? Why was she initially bitter regarding Akufo-Addo? When Akufo-Addo and Kufuor were squeezing her using one-sided political theatrics? Looks like Akufo-Addo's little visit to Rawlings might have had some hidden political agenda that would have favored Konadu had he won the elections.

If you said of someone as not being a lawyer at one time and the other as "real" lawyer (when we know this "someone" hasn't made any changes to his law credentials) you're not only demonstrating the split that you are but also how shallow, dim-witted and manipulative you are. Did Nana now go to a law school? What has changed in Akufo-Addo? He is the same crook who failed much as Attorney General as Foreign Minister.

Akufo-Addo has NO choice in anything at all. He lost; he can go whining all he wants. In Ghana, he can't win any elections and the problem is not only him. NPP as a party has lost on the electorate who now know their true colors.

We saw events heralding Kufuor's presidency. We thought he could do better; he only came with a gang of thieves to loot everything. NDC isn't better; but for now, the votes were for Mahama, NOT NDC.

Nana Konadu has lost the little regards most of us had for her.

They have this crazy attitude of 'get-rich-or-famous-at-all-cost' in life. In Netherlands, UK, Germany, US, Belgium, etc, a married Ashanti woman wouldn't bother to sleep with a butcher in a meat shop just because the butcher would add extra meat whenever she goes to buy meat. Many of them are cheating on their innocent husbands just for few dollars or pounds or euros. For an Ashanti woman, it's all about her and no one else!

For God sake,we should dump this kind of politics in the dustbin. Before,during and after the SC case,there was tension in this country leading to the numerous call for peace and an acceptance of the SC verdict by the losing party.There was also a call for us to forge ahead as one people and some even advocated for an end to the winner-takes-all democracy.
It was refreshing that the losing party conceded defeat minutes after the verdict to the relief and admiration of all Ghanaians and the world over. Congratulatory messages from all corners,were showered on Nana Addo. From then on,the call for all to contribute to national development heightened. We neeed to put the past away and work together to demonstrate to the world that,we have come of age. What Nana Konadu did,was a show of patriotism and a demonstration of oneness. After all,the fact that we belong to different parties does not make us enemies but partners in development. Rather than condemn her,lets congratulate her and urge many of our compatriots to do same. This will encourage members of opposing parties to sit together and solve the problems of the nation.
We all make mistakes through our actions or communication. If in the past,she wrongfully alleged Nana of not being a lawyer and now has information to the contrary,shouldn't she correct it?
This kind of politics where one is vilified for fraternizing with an opposition must stop. NDC members have some of their closest friends in NPP and vice versa so why do we want to continuously polarize this nation when we should be uniting it?
My brother,Salifu,lets join hands to develop our nation regardless of who is in power or who visits who. We are one people with a common destiny.
