Many have contested elections and lost all over the world. How many of those have been awarded the Nobel peace prize? What makes Akufo Addo different. I am sick and tired of people suggesting that he could have reacted violently to his lost. But nana is not the first to lose elections in Ghana and will not be the last. What is it that makes Akufo Addo look like a violent man? Is violence an option? I thought Nana is a democrat and a law abiding citizen. If so why then is the noise about rewarding him for what is obvious anyway. Mind you the Supreme Court did not agree with him on his petition.

The slogan of the NPP for posting Akuffo-Addo for the 2008 and 2012 elections is: "Yenim wo fi tete." Simply state Akuffo-Addo is well known and popular than his Challengers Atta-Mills and Mahama. If this claim is based on his contribution to socio-political culture then NPP is wrong.

Akuffo-Addo is known to the social and political elites who forms the barest minority of the Ghanaian population. This group of people have fought to gain power in Ghana on the premise that they are self made and that they would not loot Ghana's wealth. They critized JJ and his team. But what did Ghanaians learn when they gain power through Kuffour? They created, loot and share. They performed abysmally and Akuffo-Addo as Ag and FM failed woefully.

Atta-Mills a Tarkwa boy, and a commoner became an elite through his personal effort (not because his father was once a Prime Minister). A humble Professor who if I am not mistaking lectured about 35% of the Ghanaian middle class today. His contribution to education, the judicial service, IRS, sports, International law and governance is unmatched by Akkufo-Addo. Atta-Mills though an elite shared his life with the commoners (his beginning). He played hockey with them, watched football with them, served under and with them (a vice to JJ who the NPP saw as a commoner who does not fit to rule Ghana),a father and friend of all his students irrespective of their class, political of ethnic background.

In politics popularity is defined not by ones social class but how he is perceived by the grassroot.

Twice Ghanaians have shown that Akuffo-Addo is not popular, but the NPP is deceiving him and themselves by projecting him as such.

Mahama, like Atta-Mills and unlike Akuffo-Addo is a commoner's son, who was a parliamentarian, Minister (he transformed Ghana telecom, a vice president and humble. To Akuffo-Addo and his NPP he is not qualified to rulr Ghana, but this man is very much like by the grassroot and popular among not only commoners but the elites. Akuffo-Addo cannot match his popularity, so NPP should not make noise of Akuffo-Addo's popularity.

Akuffo-Addo conceded to save his name and not for peace. After all we have all agreed with the school of thought that said the reason Akuffo-Addo went to court is to market himself for 2016. The aftermath of the SC verdict has confirmed that.

After the SC Court ruling when Nana Addo waited for some time and all was quiet in Ghana, he decided to accept defeat. If Nana Addo should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize then Charles Taylor should be released from prison and also nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize because both Charles Taylor and Nana Addo are power thirsty people and not peace loving people which the prize is meant for.

You can't bribe anybody for it and you can't argue your way or cry foul to get it. You are either eligible for it or not - it is that absolute. Look, Nana does not have a lifelong track record of trying to create or even maintain peace, equity, fairness, selflessness anywhere, and has never been involved in any form of mediation or dispute resolution anywhere with a view to bringing about peace. To the contrary, the man has a track record of aggression (e.g. his campaign speeches for the 2008 campaign testify, his hard-headed effort to almost tumble Ghana into chaos after the 2008 election testifies - thank God for Kufuor, his famous "All-Die-Be-Die" clarion call testifies. The UN knows that, his behaviour as a leader is what led to another clarion call from his mentee Ken Agyapong for tribal genocide similar to what happened in Rwanda. Even though Ken Agyapong was challenged in good time by the national security before he could repeat it, the first instance already incited people in the Sekondi Takoradi area to attack members of a specific tribe that live in that area on false suspiscion that they killed a local chief - when in fact it was later discovered that the chief was killed by his own cousin or nephew. So you see, Nana's violent leadership disposition empowered Ken Agyapong which led to a mini Rwanda in the Sekondi-Takoradi area in Ghana in 2011. If you think the UN does not have full details of this, think again. Trust me, from where I live and what I do for a living, I know for a fact that Nana Akuffo Addo will never get ANY PEACE PRIZE from anywhere, let alone a Nobel Peace Prize.

We know all too well that the Nobel Peace Prize is Scandinavian hence our petition to the UN to nominate but not to vote. That way, if the UN and the US nominate Nana, he will ultimately win because those two entities would add the necessary weight to our endeavour.
