Nana, I wonder which citation style you adopted; is it APA or MLA? The American Psychological Association (APA) citation is the aknowledged and recommended version in the academia and scientific writings today. It doesn't require the numbering as Nana did but rather requires that you give the date of publication in parentheses right after the author (s) name, eg, GREED OR NEED (date)...and if no date you indicate it by writing (nd).

The MLA seems to be outmoded and I hope Nana will take note of this next time. I mean no harm.

Hey Boateng, the premise of his message is loud and clear and that is the MOST important thing here. Nana didnt write for his Professor to grade him; he wrote for ordinary people like me and millions across the African continent to see the re-colonization Kwame Nkrumah warned us about. Give the guy the credit he deserves. APA or MLA or NPP or OSA style is immaterial.

I will further add the complicity of our own Kofi Annan (former UN Gen Secretary) who is also leading with the introduction of the GMO in Ghana and Africa. These are dangerous times we live in. Good job Nana. Take care

He didnt write for us to critique his style of referencing. To me, criticizing his style of referencing was way off target. It wasn't necessary, bro. After all, one could easily reference what he gave us, whether EPA, MLA, NPP, KSI, PPP, CYO, Korlebu or whatever. The numbering didnt take away the validity of his referencing. I therefore saw your critique of his style of reference very unnecessary.

The Koreans, the Chinese, the Malaysians, the Lebanese, the Syrians, the Westerners etc. etc. What the nigger hates is for his fellow nigger to prosper!! Mahama has never seen a contract with China that he won't sign. As a matter of fact they don't even read the contract because it was drawn up by a superior human being.
To top it, every President, Minister steals money from their poor citizens and deposit them in foreign Bank accounts thereby giving them more free capital to develop these foreign nations. While the nigger countries are suffering from malnutrition, bad infrastructure, bad hospitals, schools, sanitation etc., etc. Now, where do these FOOLS go for vacation?, Europe, America ... Why ? because these places look nice, beautiful, good roads, infrastructure and all. Do these fools pause to think that the Presidents and Ministers steal their nations monies ans deposit them in Accra, Lagos, Lome and Dakar?? You should have waited for his response before making your conclusion because for all you know, his Ossei may not be the Osei that you're thinking about. Do you know that some people write Kofi as Koffi and that the latter is a surname in some communities while the former is just the day one was born but they are all pronounced the same? How about Arthur and Atta?

Ghana is not the only country to be colonised, India was a British colony for over 200 years and was heavily plundered. They got on with developing their country after independence in 1947 in spite of being labelled the most corrupt nation on earth at one time. India, Singapore, Malaysia, China were all colonies who have progressed since independence. Why is it that we are not able to prove that we are as good as the whites when it comes to government? Clearly we are not. We all think it is entirely because of greedy and corrupt leaders. Indeed corruption plays a part but there is more to it and that is the debate we need to have. India is corrupt, there has been more coups in Thailand than in Ghana, there is still a lot of corruption in China. Just look at the achievements of India, China and Thailand in spite of their perceived difficulties. As to the discussion on GM foods, it is a storm in a teacup. Does anybody really think the young man walking and running in traffic trying to sell bicycle chains really cares. If he can buy an 800 gm kenkey for 50 pesewas rather than 60 pesewas for a 450 GM kenkey he will be happy and will not care if the corn from which the kenkey was produced was genetically modified.
We had and still have a good chance to prove we are as good as the whites. Certainly the Indians have proved it, we certainly have not and we do not like to hear that.
