  Wereko Brobbey, let's move on and stop this, I was right and they are wrong mentality. This is not the time to dwell on trivialities and banalities. There are more things to tackle now. Yes, had they taken your advice, they may had won the election, but let's move on deal with what is holding the party back now: NANA ADDO
  
  It is not Supreme Court judgement that will break apart NPP, but rather you, Nana, who will do or doing that. It is about that some people in NPP rose up and tell it like it is. If possible, force him to stand down.
  
  Nana has to come out from the state of denial and accept that, his ambition to be President of Ghana is over - Please, don't tell me Mills tried for 3rd time or Mugabe is still there -That is the first step in NPP's healing over the losing of the election and SC court petition. As long as Nana keeps the NPP at bay over his decision, and his fanatics like Gabby and Sir John keep hope alive, NPP will fall apart.
  
  Nature abhors vacuum. And currently, since there is no interim leader for NPP, everyone including Sir John and Gaby believe that they have the right to speak for the Party. And that is what NPP has found itself in; leadership vacuum, which is being filled by anyone and everybody. No union, body or association can exist without a leader, let alone a political party. And this is common sense.
  
  Because of Nana's indecision, the focus of keeping the government feet in the fire has been changed to an election that had been lost. Even their MPs who should know better to talk about this and win the confidence of the electorates are always talking about a useless and lost fight. And have left the clueless Mahama (he would be worse than Mills) walking around and keep on with his promises while doing nothing. This is breaking Ghana apart and Nana is part of the problem and not SC.
  
  This is what NPP need to do ASAP:
  
  Nana needs to come out and tell NPP and the Nation he is not going to seek the leadership of NPP. He should become a Stateman like JAK.
  
  NPP should find an interim leader or 4 to 5 elders to lead the party. These leader(s) should be the one that should speak for the party and not the Sir Johns and Ken Agyapongs.
  
  NPP should talk to their MPs and leaders to focus more on the corruption that is going on FMRadios and stop talking about the election. No review and nothing. Bring back the Judgement debt, Gyeeda, Sada, incompetence among the over 100 Ministers .
  
  While doing this, they also need to realize that NPP need to support Bawumia for the leadership. Strategically, it would be wrong and unwise to turn to someone else like Alan Kyeremateng who abandoned the party. That would be their downfall, if they failed to back Bawumia.
  
  So Nana, be bold and stand down so that NPP can begin to look forward for 2016

We will follow him till he dies, just to spite Kuffour who brought all this mess on us

Nana Akufo-Addo will always go down in our Ghanaian political history as a remarkable political leader who came close to winning the country's presidency. However, with a surge of goodwill and shower of praise towards him after the Supreme Court verdict, it might be tempting for Nana to stand for the third time. As it is, unless Nana wants to lead again solely to serve his own ambition, it will be vital for NPP's political/electoral fortunes and honourable for Nana Akufo-Addo to step aside for a new candidate, preferably, Dr. Bawumia to lead the party.

  LONTO-BOY, Greetings. Yes, Nana has had a remarkable political career. Forget about those who want to use "all die be die" to tarnish his reputation and make him a violent man. Base on his record, should think twice and use this opportunity to redeem himself and look into the future with hope.
  
  From where I sit, he could become probably the greatest African Peace Ambassador ever. Because, he has walked the talk and lived it. Not only that, he is probably among the few politicians in Africa that is not tainted with corruption.In spite of all that they said about him, no one accused him of being corrupt or thief.
  
  With these qualifications, he stands the chance of being used by the AU and UN to take the lead to bring peace in war-torn countries in Africa where many Presidential candidates refuse to concede after defeat. If he could do this in 3 or 4 African countries, my prediction is the Noble peace prize consideration.
  
  Jimmy Carter was awarded the Noble Peace Prize after being considered as probably the weakest US President ever. He changed his defeat at the polls to victory by using his time to help others. Al Gore got one after challenging an election results and conceding gracefully after the Supreme Court verdict and began working to make the world a better place for all. And I have no doubt, Nana could get one, if he could use this opportunity to bring more light into the political darkness most of Africa countries find themselves in.
  
  Nana, think big and look at the big picture and stop this egocentrism. Your party, Country and Continent need you. Stand down and step up the game.

  However, I believe that if the NPP goes with Bawumia it will probably lose all over the country. First Bawumia is not presidential material AT THIS TIME. He came to the NPP in 2008 an has only been a running mate of Nana. I strongly doubt if at this time he has the likeability of JAK that enabled the stunning victory of 2000 an 2004 for the NPP
  
  Second to win power NPP needs to capture central and western regions. BA an Accra, I feel, will remain in the NDC hands although NPP can make inroads.Do not forget JAK won all the main regions in Ghana 3 times over (Ashanti, Eastern, BA, Western, Central, Accra) and NPP needs some success here. I need to be convinced that Bawumia can win any of these regions. He has no personal support base, no constituency outside the NPP rooting for him, no nothing. His best chance of becoming a president is in being a finance minister in an NPP administration and then after 8 years the doors will open tio him. One thing I must note is that if NPP chooses Nana Addo to lead again, Bawumia will be burying himself for good if he agrees to be running mate as the 2 will lose again and that will be it.
  
  Since 2008, anywhere I have been, all are clamouring for Alan. No one in Ghana cares about him leaving the party as you allege (he did not). He is warm, charming an people have an affection for him. He also comes off as a moderate and this is what is needed for victory. My guess is the 47-49% NPP has been getting is from its core base. It needs to win beyond its core to get into Jubilee House and Bawumia can not do this (neither can Nana).
  
  However the NPP needs to talk to ordinary Ghanaians and find out who they want as President. My bet is they will say Alan but my fear is the party will choose Nana again and head for a third defeat of even greater proportion

  Everyone acknowledges that C Wireko Brobbey is a clever man. If he puts his imagination towards solving our collective problems rather that assuaging 'his' demons, society as a whole becomes a better place. This article is insightful balanced and should be taken on board. I hope NPP leaders at mid night go and seek counsel from him. He is a dangerous man but when he is good he is a brilliant tactician. Bar none....shame his ego had robbed us all of his qualities which are admirable. Nana Addo do not be like the vindictive Kuffour and call this man and regularly seek his counsel... some gems might come up which the 2nd rate graduates around you might not dream up. Obama choose to work with Hilary..... look what happened. Bring Wireko Brobbey back as an advisor.
