One who does not hate the truth will read this article. All that preaching about peace should have been directed at Atuguba and co to dissuade them from sowing seeds of destruction. The foolish judge is implying it is ok to commit electoral fraud.
People can decide to ignore it for now but how does that deter the perpetrators from doing it again.
Since humans are not saints what do you think will happen in the future if this is repeated over and over again. A peaceful man can eventually explode into an unstoppable inferno if he is forever taken for granted.
Peace should not be taken for granted. Ask this man who uses a christian name whether he is infact a christian? Has he read the part in the bible which questions what it profits a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? When that ndc guru said there is more that one way to skin a cat/judge, everyone felt he was referring to the kind of thing which tsikata did to the three judges ( their flesh was destroyed) But this is a millions times worse, their soul was bought. Like the good book says, do not be afraid of those who can destroy your flesh but the one who can destroy your soul. The judges have sold and lost their soul and surely a Superior Being will be judging them.

NPP always challenging defeat. If Jesus Christ was to rule against them, they would disagree. NPP in the near future will not be taken serious any more both national and international. "NPP mo due bo dodo" you seem to be all known which is very bad. You know Dr. Afari Gyan did nothing wrong but because of politics you have painted him dark black. Out of respect for all these Ghanaian public dignitaries, Akufo-Addo, like Mahama, obliged and gave the assurance that he would accept the verdict, win or lose.

NPP did not come out publicly to tell Akufo-Addo that he (Akufo-Addo) could not decide for the whole party. By keeping silent over Akufo-Addo's several assurances, NPP too seemed to have backed its leader.

NPP CANNOT TURN ROUND AND GO FOR REVIEW, WITHOUT LOOKING NOT TRUST-WORTHY!!!

I have read the contorted reasoning that some of the judges employed to set aside Article 49 of the constitution, an entrenched clause several times, and I still cannot make sense of it. I think science and maths should be made compulsory in our schools till age 18!

One of the all time great judges of the English world was Lord Denning Master of the Rolls 1899-1999.He gained degrees in mathematics and law at Oxford University both first class but was noted for his bold judgments running counter to the law at the time. Lord Denning was recognized as the most celebrated English judge of the 20th century.

An early judicial activist, Lord Denning foreshadowed the move towards moulding the law to suit changing times and circumstances, in a period when most judges adhered to precedent.
He recognized that the law is a living thing and must adhere to the circumstances of the day.

His judgments were a model of lucidity. He was prepared to use the law for its true purpose in the interests of fairness and justice. He had a tremendous feel for ordinary people.His objective was to do true justice through the doctrine of equity.

Some of his land mark rulings was that he Established the "deserted wife's equity", giving her the right to remain in the matrimonial home.

Held for the first time that a local council should be liable for the negligence of a council surveyor "in passing work as good when in truth it is bad"

Held that where someone loses out through relying on a negligent misstatement, the person who made it should be liable.And ruled that an unmarried partner who contributes to buying or improving the home may claim a share under trust law.

That is the legal creativity of a genius who use the law and common sense to give complete effect to justice as the law intended.

I am almost certain that Lord Denning would never go to read his own summary judgenment and make tat kind of mistake without correcting it there and then. I am also sure that in England if 9 Law Lords sat in court to pronounce a judgement and the president of the court made a mistake, one of them would correct it there and then.

Finally, the fact that there was a four hour delay in the pronouncement of judgement and nearly a week's delay in making the written judgements available means that something went wrong on 29th August. That is why I believe the petitioner ought to go for a review before the full court!

"According to JSC Atuguba, the court has always sought to sustain public elections, therefore even when the conduct of an election records violations that touch the core of the constitution such as happened in the 2012 election, judges must move all mountains to sustain the unsustainable". atuguba is saying that the grounds for over-turning Presidential elections results must be so compelling and overwhelming, not flimsy and controversial such as that of the petitioners. Else we have a chaos worse than even maintaining the elected president aldeit through an imperfect election. Is this too difficult for the writer to understand? Or is it a case of sour grapes?
