An independent Parliamentary Commission be set to look into this case as was done in the Watergate affairs during the Ex-President Richard Nixon's regime in the United States. The truth must come out for this man is dragging the noble name of Asante and the Golden Stool(sikagua Fofie)into the mud. This is not the first time Ghanaians have heard damaging stories about him. The first was the MV Benjamin cocaine saga where his name was mentioned in the meetings of the drug barons,the second was the alleged sales of the Royal regalia in Norway and the last but not the least is this bribery rumours.This Parliamentary Commission should be given all "subpeona ad testificandum" powers to summons any witness to appear and give oral testimony at its hearings.

The NDC through their rented press sought to play every tribe and their traditional leaders against Otumfuo and Asantes and that is the unfortunate truth. Now the NDC have added the Okyehene to their hate list of traditional leaders because of Akufo Addo. Who knows, one day it may be the Oguaahene, Bono chiefs or the Northern chiefs. Time will tell.

One day, his albino brother was used for ritual sacrifice by the Akwapims. That made Okonfo Anokye to leave them since the Ashantis were also looking for him because of his powers. He has a brother called Le. Le settledat a present place Legon. Legon took its name from Torgbui Le.Ashantis cannot pronounce his name so they referred to him Okomfo fri Notsie. This finally resulted to a name Okomfo Anokye.Check the History of Ashantis and find out if someone is called Anokye before that time. The Ewe letter is not found within the Akan alphabet so they used letter N. If some one doubt, you can go to Notsie in Togo today. The shrines Okomfo Anokye served as a fetish priest is still there. They knew he was in Gold Coast. I know his family member who became a Christian. It was difficult and they have to finally give him their blessing before he could go through. I am offended vicariously on behalf of the Asantehene, Otomfuo Osei Tutu ||, entitled as you are to your opinion. Is it your suggestion that the Asantehene should be fuddy-duddy and must remain silent and aloof even as Ghana threatened to burn? Is it your submission he must remain at the periphery of society?
