What Is Driving “Chief of Staff” Otchere Darko Crazy?

Ever since Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, the sole proprietor of the Danquah Institute, joined the NPP, the party has never known any peace. He is the single individual who knows next to nothing about politics, but yet has caused a lot of pain to the NPP and its cause.
The history of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s two presidential election defeats will not be complete if Gabby Otchere Darko’s name does not pop up. Gabby Otchere Darko, who robbed a grocery store in the United Kingdom with a toy gun at the age of 16, seems to have a certain kind of stranglehold on Akufo-Addo which beats the thinking and imagination of many people.
For some reason which does not make sense, Akufo-Addo always goes to the bank with any trash that comes from Gabby Otchere Darko even though it has always cost him a great deal. This cousin-cousin relationship has not only caused Akufo-Addo two major electoral defeats but has also exposed Akufo-Addo as a politician who does not have a political mind of his own.
If Gabby Otchere Darko had belonged to another political party, he would have been shoved off after the 2012 Elections, but the NPP folks seem not to care about the havoc this man has caused and continues to cause the party.
After Gabby Otchere Darko has gone round blabbing that the NPP has a solid case and that they were going to win the 2012 Election petition case hands down, he cannot now fathom why the nine justices dismissed the case, and he is jumping all over trying to re-write the judgment through his own myopic and senseless view.
All what this political nonentity, Gabby Otchere Darko, is attempting to do is to save his political future because without Akufo-Addo in the limelight, he is toast.
Can you imagine that Gabby Otchere Darko is now saying that five of the Supreme Court Justices sided with the NPP on the petition case concerning voting irregularities? If indeed five of the justices sided with the NPP, why will those Justices keep mute and allow Gabby Darko to do the talking for them?
Is Gabby Otchere Darko trying to inform Ghanaians that of all the tens of thousands of individuals both nationally and internationally who have poured through the judgments written by the nine Justices, he is the only person who have seen that five of the justices sided with the NPP?
Is it therefore any wonder that Gabby Otchere Darko, who is rumoured not to have passed his law exams just like his cousin Nana Akufo-Addo, was “wheeled to safety” by some benevolent hands? How can a right thinking individual make such a stupid comment to the effect that he even wrote a feature article to buttress it?
If Akufo-Addo has surrounded himself with such shady and non-performing characters like Gabby Otchere Darko, who are his political strategists, why will he not continue to lick his political wounds because the likes of Gabby Otchere Darko bring nothing good to the political table? Trust me Akufo-Addo will run for the highest office zillion of times but will lose every time if Gabby Otchere Darko is his political mind.
We are all aware that had Akufo-Addo either won the 2012 Elections or the bogus petition case, Gabby Otchere Darko was going to be his Chief of Staff. Imagine such a nonentity like Gabby Otchere Darko becoming the Chief of Staff of Ghana? That is why the two losses suffered by Akufo-Addo are driving Gabby Otchere Darko silly.
Gabby Otchere Darko knows very well that his days even as a member of the NPP are numbered and that the day Akufo-Addo leaves the NPP political screen he Gabby Otchere Darko will fade or evaporate into thin air.
Gabby Otchere Darko, the illusionary chief of staff, can continue to be angry till kingdom come, but that will not change the verdict. His ranting, postponed seminar and all the garbage that he is spewing can continue, but what God determined has come to pass.
Maybe I have one good advice for Gabby Otchere Darko: He can go and burn the sea since his NPP party is very well noted for playing with fire.
