Ghana's twenty year democracy is too young to make predictions from past presidential elections and voting patterns. You will be mistaken to believe that Mahama will definitely win the 2016 presidential election. Again, that Ghanaians will be fed up with NDC in 2020 is false.

It is possible for NPP presidential candidate to beat Mahama in 2016. That will happen if Mahama fails to deliver to the expectations of the electorates. In that case NPP can easily win the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections. For example, if the water, energy and unemployment situation do not improve. Again, if there is still rampant corruption such as GYEEDA around and the economic situation of many Ghanaians is the same or even worst.

In other words, Mahama is beatable and there is not certainty in politics. You are deceiving yourselves by assuming that come what may, Mahama will win in 2016. Do not take the Ghanaian electorate for granted or insult their intelligence because they are clever than what you give them.

They have already started insulting. Any winnable candidate m=in Ghanaian elections should be cast in the character of the following: Busia, Liman, Kufffour, Mills, Mahama. I left out Rawlings and Nkrumah because they were dictators and stepped on so many toes as a result had many die hard enemies. Akuffo Addo with all the campaign money and the advantage of party incumbency could not win because Akuffo Addo does not have the qualities of a president in him.
