  This is a vain and ridiculous attempt by the writer to connect Ms Emma Lawson to the scandal. There is a world of difference between the Free Press and the New Free Press, which is an online portal not associated with the former. The fact that the writer worships the Asantehene doesn't insulate the chief from possible culpability. The writer can't deny the close friendship between the chief and the president. Hasn't he read the accounts of the long chummy relationship that exists between his chief and the Mahama brothers? What about Mahama placing the presidential jet at the Asantehene's disposal for a private visit to the UK? What else would make the president do that for the chief? There is no smoke without fire?
