why shouldn't we call pepeni a fool as its not an insult but a fact . All these scandals ,tribal ethnic biased anti Akan ministerial appointments non action on worthy projects and action on foolishness and stupid corrupt deals. his mentor is kuffuor whose greatest achievement was to give all our gold fields to foreigners who dont invest a single penny in our economy but take out over 10 billion dollars a year . his weak ayigbe national security could not advise him to do what president putin of russia did , nationalise the mines and give it to local corrupt Akans and others , then tax them well. instead we run around trying to borrow this same money and watch as the various superpowers play with us , where is the wisdom in that ? pepeni you a big fool and chronically retarded as you have no shame, integrity , honor or decency yourself . you can only understand indecency and insults as thats what gets registered. instead of going out there to acquire technologies that will create jobs, factories and self reliance for our people you attend useless meetings that bring nothing. you have failed us like all the others before you and we look forward gloomy future because you wont step aside so those with courage knowledge and real projects based on sound macroeconomics take over. commot from there

So, can’t these NPP people be honest for once to take issues beyond the level of Dr. Afari Gyan or anybody else to replace him (as will be appointed by the President)?

You continue to be a fool 'insight to the bone ' isn't an insult but a fact. Why do you get so worried about pepeni? You will have to endure the pepeni ruling Ghana for a very long time. No matter how you think or feel the fact is that pepeni is Ghana's president and it will remain so for very very long time so far as we continue to have fools like you in Ghana, hahaha,! Poor school dropout soul, hahahaha!

Keep on writing shit but remember that Kpegah is looking for you. What are electoral reforms if those reforms are not heeded to? During the last election, all the political parties met and came out with some reforms that before anyone can vote, he/she should be verified by the biometric machine but what did we see?
Those reforms were not respected due to NDCs lack of commonsense. Their rude behavior made it impossible to implement any reforms that will make anything smooth sailing and they will quickly blame the other party for their stupidity and idiocy.
The election of 2016, will test Ghana as a peaceful nation due to what took place during the last election. We live to see.

And in the estimation of Michael Bokor, those processes as it currently stands are flawless abi? It's very important that you spare us your uninformed prejudices and seek to appreciate the issues that have been raised from no less personalities and bodies such as CODEO, Kofi Annan and even the EC itself, whom you quoted in your article as having embarked on this exercise but had to end it abruptly for reasons best known to them, which you conveniently attributed to the NPP. Indeed, some of the reforms hinges on constitutional amendments which would not be too soon in coming, but reforms the EC must undergo, to safeguard the peace and stability and well being of the country. It does not lie in the mouth of Micheal Bokor to seek to arrogate to himself to speak to the issue and pontificate as to whether such an exercise is uncalled for and politically tainted. Ghanaians have been witnesses to the level of violence the NDC was prepared to go, to ensure their success at the polls in 2008, and if that is anything to go by, then commonsense should dictate to Michael Bokor that, the EC would have to be reformed and it's the political establishment with a huge stake in the processes and procedures who would champion it, ably supported by CSO's, the Think Tanks, Academia, Policy Experts and the political parties.

Dr, You seems to have done a myopic analyses. Elections in Ghana, since we returned to democracy in 1992 have been full of irregularities. Accepting them till this time does not mean, it should be accepted forever. Someone has to come out against it. And it takes only fair, selfless-minded people like many in NPP and perhaps some few in NDC who will sacrifice their political interest to support it.
I quote you here article:
..."In looking for means to reform our electoral process, we may have to look far afield to find out how mature democracies in the United States or Great Britain handle affairs, especially in terms of the body that organizes and supervises elections. I haven’t yet heard any complaint against any single person in charge of elections in those countries. How do they do it? ..."
Bringing in this part show that you yourself have not done any research in what you are writing about. Those who admire these 2 countries’ democracies have perhaps not taken any recognition of the structures and traditions of our society into consideration before recommending what will smoothly works, but probably their self-interest to rule/govern us till thy kingdom come.
For an example of what is good or suitable for us, please study the present German electoral and parliamentary system. It has made her the greatest country in the world but few seems to recognise that. They are going to the polls this Sunday. Please spend time to watch it. You would love it. In term of that it is the most grass-rooted electoral system but unknown to many countries on the African continent because we are blinded by colonial and non-colonial mentalities to believe that everything from Britain and USA are the best and good examples to follow.
This winner-take-all electoral system with unitary system of government will never work effectively in any African state. There would probably calm after election but there will never be a lasting peace.
So please reflect on your one-sided argument and offer Ghanaians with good analyses to make the best choice from the options available. After all, the tax-payers contributed to your level of education and it is time to pay back.
