I agree with your recommendations - in most parts. In addition, I would like to see a stop to the Ghana Security (those in the Black pants and White shirts on the top floor) asking for Pure Water. This is a disgrace to and a blot on our international image. Just do your job and go home or leave the company if you don't like the pay. You are not doing me a favor by searching my carry-on. The company that hires them should track and sack them.

Coke specialty is water treatment..unless your unaware-uneducated most of what is in any beverage is water.So Coke has to treat the water to make it safe! As coke to give ideas on the upgrading of water treatment plants (why toilets)...As papayae or Asonka local to help build toilets since under cooked food will give the runs to toilet..What about the kente cloth or statues..even way back in 2001 i saw dress made from ghana fabric for sale in airport..Do you expect the airport to have a shopping Mall like JFK,Amsterdam or Atlanta GA? Are they any pictures of President Mahatma shopping for shirt or tie in Atlanta Airport..Should be more local cocoa there..Why is the candy (M&M) imported to duty free area?

Its not as easy as it the author makes it sound and quite honestly some proposals are straight from a layman's point of view.We can't manage or market our airport and products like the way we run our countless road side kiosk ...

Its not as easy as it the author makes it sound and quite honestly some proposals are straight from a layman's point of view.We can't manage or market our airport and products like the way we run our countless road side kiosks.Its an involved process that needs to cater for an international clientele with different taste,cultures and values from our regular Ghanaian and tus we should run things from that perspective.Injecting too Ghanaianism with our mediocre work ethic and values based on african traditions might turn off a German or Japanese visitor who are known to value cleanliness,timeliness and efficiency yet our culture promotes bribe seeking and we don't keep time.Just a thought.

Kumasi Airport schould be expanded to
meet International Standards.It is a
