Go and follow your stomach elsewhere and leave the police alone. You think it is easy to be peace keepers with elements like you around always seeking to destabilize society so that you can make a name and come on top and chop some. GO AWAY.

  It's always laudable to strike a blow against constitutional illegality by public institutions as well as government officials who become bloatedly arrogant and ride roughshod over the rights of citizens. That's why I doff my cap up to The Insight for standing up against the unconstitutional action of the Ghana Police with regards to public demonstrations.

  Police can not stop you from demonstrating, but you need their protection, so if the Police say they can offer you that at a particular time what is your problem? If you think you can do without the police go ahead!

  you do not need any court order or any macho man to stop the police. If you read the law well , even if the police tell you not to go on a demonstration, you can still go. the only way the police can prevent is to go to court ...

If you read the law well , even if the police tell you not to go on a demonstration, you can still go. the only way the police can prevent is to go to court. This should tell you that a mere announcement by the police that they cannot provide protection to any body who intends to go on demonstration cannot amount to a ban on demonstrations.
