May be I went to a different Ghana or he(Mahama) was coming from another Ghana I am yet to discover.
The roads even in the nations capital are nothing good to write about. Internet connections are bad, banking system in shambles. Hospitals are like refugee camps.
The situation you mentioned at the ports still remained the same evn though Egya Atta Mills went there himself and promised the whole nation to change it for the better.
In a nut shell president Mahama is a serial lier and a very lazy president with no vision or goals to move Ghana forward. You look at the people he appointed to work with and the proverbial saying comes to mind. "Show me your friend and I will show you your character." Several years as an MP and a minister, three solid years as a vice president and a whole year as president since Atta Mills passed away and the guy still have NO CLUE as to how to govern or lead the country to wean ourselves from been beggars. I rest my case.

The daily insults and accusations from the other side who lost the elections, starving the country of external investment, and non-collectable taxes, to country's assets sold and pocketed by a few.
The guy has an enormous task on his hands.
Seems presently every one has forgotten about the ex-President of the NPP, whose administration changed nothing.
Point is YOU SEEM to notice the decay when NPPis not in power, TRUE?

I am reminding you because you committed the same error in the first paragraph article, and this is unacceptable. We have disgraced ourselves for so long and yet we allow it to continue unabated. We all makes mistakes to a certain degree, but as some errors could be difficultly discernible others are too conspicuous to allow them to pass.

Nobody coerces anyone to write articles but when you do, please research certain usages and correct the mistakes before your exhibit.

I would agree with you on the substance of the article especially the issue concerning our roads.

While in Ghana last year I was fighting with almost everybody on the poor state of the roads. Ghana's contractors are very guilty of mismanagement and construction of roads that can't even qualify to be called 5th class roads but the problem is with those awarding contracts. They connive with these contractors for kickbacks and subsequently refuse to monitor the quality of the jobs at hand. The ensuing result is evident.

We should begin to award the construction of our roads to foreign constructors until our people are ready to offer services for which they are retained for the job.

The event was not a press conference and therefore should not even have asked to answer any questions. Presidents often entertain questions during press conferences and not when mainly addressing an audience. The president's advisers should stop this practice pronto.
