  Unfortunately Ghanaians do not want the truth but at this time Okuampa is telling the truth. Let us take the blinkers off!!

  instead of always finding reason to blame, why can we not simply be happy there is a university, finally in the North and somebody who did not let the idea just stay on the shelve collecting dust at least facilitated its realization and should deserve a "thank you"? what is wrong with us?
  Prof, must a project for the development of Ghana be NPP initiated to be productive and genuine?
  i agree, Rawlings as a person has his set backs, but he did try his best. he ruled Ghana for over 20 years, it took Somalia, months to self distract. we progressed to where we are today. an NPP government, an NDC government or whatever party, look at the benefit and well being of the ordinary Ghanaian. compliment when needed, criticize constructively when necessary. we have only one Ghana and if we the so called Profs, teachers, lawyers who should know better speak so ignorantly and divisively, i really wonder what education has done for us.
  Prof, you judge Ghana based on American democratic values, values that took this union over 200 years to perfect. and you know what, we are living through a government shutdown now. even after 200 years of the union, American democracy is not perfect.
  give Ghana, Africa for that matter a chance.
  lets be constructive rather than divisive for the sake of mother Ghana.
  what does an honorary degree conferred on Rawlings take from you?
