I am saying this because Ndc will surely come to end of their second term with the last John.According to the author,Ghanaians are looking for alternative measures and solutions.I totally agree with him here and trust me NPP will do just that.NPP needs a new strategic presidential candidate that is if they want to win the 2016 general élections.For now,Npp is not well at all, they are driving away floating voters with insults and lies.The facts on the grounds favours NDC because they have conquered 8 régions steadily in 2008 and 2012 plus the incumbency,wow.Mind you,time changes very fast in politics and for me if Npp changes Nana Addo and campaign strategy,NDC will surely fall.I am saying this because Prez Mahama is steadily killing all the local business,making people very poor.So many NDC laws and policies are counter productive and I will be surprised if Ghanaians will vote NDC into power again.Ofcourse,this theory but NPP should start putting their house in order and some of us are ready to help them by exposing the weakness in NDC government today.I wish NPP will stop the insults and lies and focus on the poor economic policies of Prez Mahama.There are many useless economic policies that have collapsed local business.The banning of used fridges,used tyres into the country,higher taxes.Unprofessional policies against fishermen,drivers and traders etc are the thing that will finish NDC.I will not attack for NPP but NDC should know that they are on the wrong side and likely to lose in 6 régions again if they don't quickly review the cruel laws against small local businessmen and burgers.Thank you.

I disagree, if you are very objective you will realise that Kufour brought a human face to governance in Ghana demonstrating purpose and focus. I am the first to admit that it was not entirely perfect and had its fair share of chalenges which is a trade mark of African governments but watching Fiifi Kwetey and Dr Omane Boamah on Newsfile told me loads about how inept the Ghana government of today is, bereft of creative ideas to solve the country's problems. Even the President is 'lost in the woods' as I watched him on an international platform blaming the IMF and World Bank for Ghana's problems. This is an old song and if he is singing it in the 21st Century then trust me he is the most confused President in the world. If you doubt what I am saying, go to Youtube and search for 'What is wrong with the black man'. You will learn loads about our leadership. So sing a dirge for Ghana if you want NDC in power after 2016, I am sure that by then even the most uneducated of Ghanaians will see through the incompetence of the NDC Ghanaians. Perhaps not from a human context but by divine intervention. We have trusted!

iT seems writers on this forum here are not interested in the issues that are impacting badly on the living standards of the few people we have in Ghana (25 million pop) and what we can do to improve the conditions of everyone.

We need creative minds with creative ideas or ideas that already work in developed economies and countries and to harness them to the benefit of Ghanaians.

Instead, we have a bunch of plonkers diverting attention from issues such as employment, unemployment, prices, inflation, housing, transport, education, medical care, infrastructure; buildings, bridges, maintenance of what has already been built, inventions, research to improve lifestyles for everyone.

All you guys with your little dud African minds can think of is NOT GHANAIANS AND GHANA but power, political power and the exercise of it by a small group of people to enrich themselves and fuck the rest of Ghanaians and what does it boil down to: ndc insults and foolish talk, propaganda, lies, versus npp's constant attacks or criticisms on a daily basis without offering the ndc government alternative policies to pursue. Here, I even have my doubts that even if they did that ndc will take it in good faith and not resort to political defensiveness?

It such a mess in Ghana today. Mahama does not seem to know whether he is going or coming - just talk, talk and talk and noone sees any action.

We don't see in practical terms what action has been taken about Gyeeda, Isofoton, Woyome, AA Automobile, accountability on Akonfe, Ghost Tree Planting allegations, Now Rawlings has began to undermine and challenge the president's authority and credibility.

The perception here is that Mahama is weak, just like Atta Mills. He is gradually graduating to the position of President DO LITTLE OR NOTHING. He keeps on talking and send contradictory signals; one week, our economy is strong, another week, we are dry to the bones, another week, the West should portray us in a better light but we are always in darkness; that is what we portray ourselves, always with a begging bowl asking for money - aid to help balance our national budget while while the politicians are rightly perceived to be members of the planning, looting and sharing brigade.

Then you come up with this irrelevant, nonsense article to convince us that ndc will win come 2016. Is this what Ghanaians want to read? What a load of codswallop

Good analysis. But please don't be complacent. The NDC/John Mahama should work hard to restore confidence in NDC supporters. Some of them are aggrieved. There is no Municipal Chief Executive in Tema. Tema Roads are very bad. No jobs for graduates. Even national service personnel cannot be posted. There is a huge backlog of graduates to be posted. What is Alhaji doing. Mahama should not be pushed around. Rawlings should leave Tema Oil Refinery alone. I repeat ,John Mamaha should not be pushed around. Better Ghana Agenda is a process and changes should be felt inside 3-4 years. I say again the President should stay focused.
