It helps the government to realize some mistakes done and again cautions the government to thinks about corrections. It is a useful article. I think Mahama would consider all the advice that come to his desk very well before making decisions. What bothers me is that, it looks like NDC government lacks experts, good advisers, critical thinkers to rely on (tribute to Hon. Kunbour).

I met Kofi Wayo in a club in the south side of Chicago in the 80s. He sounded uneducated and uncouth. He was also irritating. I am surprised Mills appointed him to

They did not implement it because feasibility studies to proof its worth was on-going. It was up to NDC to conduct its own study to see if the dea worths before implementing it. NDC came to office saw the idea and just implemented it, boasted with it, and used it to win elections without thinking about the demerits of the idea, and now they are suffering for their folly. It looks like the party lacks critical thinkers hence relying on Kofi Wayo and Kwasi Pratts' advice.

It seems to me the writer is now catching up with this discarded notion and attitude that when you have differences with others, write whatever gabbage you can think of or make up and post it on the Web to get similarly minded characters to join you in doing your dirty laundry.

This Article has no substance it is not telling us anything we don't already know and is inherently malicious.

This is not what Ghanaians want to read at such trying moment of our lives.

Please, find out where Mr. Kofi Wayo lives or where ever you can find him and go and face him and leave Ghanaians to make and read meaningful and civilized contributions to aid the National discourse.

We must be happy that Ghana is registering growth of about 5% since 2011.I think the govt must put some pragmatic measures in place to allow the private sector to grow faster.There are also some negative policies in the economy like high taxes and business restrictions that the govt needs to review.In a Free Market Economy,it's the private sector that creates jobs and wealth but not the public sector.Whilst the public sector drains the State coffers the private sector fills in the state coffers with cash.Prez Mahama is lucky to have the oil revenue coming in but he must focus on developing the private sector like President Kuffour did some few years ago.NDC must stop closing down business with heavy unrealistic taxes and restriction.We should not go back to the days of J.J.Rawlings where businessmen were all closed down.This present socio-economic hardship is uncalled for,we need pragmatic economic measures now.Thank you.

Maybe therein lies our problems. The govt should work to reduce that number by more than half in the very short forseeable future.

Gees, 700,000 public workforce is just too many for a small country with a population of 25-26M.

Ratio is around 37 to 1 per public servant; and just look at the average daily income of most Ghanaians - Is it even Gh5? How much is each supposed to pay out per day in taxes to be allocated for the salaries of Public servants?

Let alone what is needed for infrastrutue development, education, healthcare, etc.

I say work towards cutting the public workforce Mr President. Let the private sector function in most instances. This is not 1960, the govt should NOT be the primary employer!!!!!
