  I agree with Prodi. Mrs. Cherie Blair should advise Tony Blair to get off his hackneyed Iraq talking points.
  
  I admit I have not read Prodi's speech, however, I can say he was NOT asking Africans to ditch the basic tenets that underpin democracy - rule of law etc etc. Tony Blair still thinks that following GWBush into Iraq was the "right thing to do"
  
  Until we can have African think tanks that will lead the way our democracy is a de-monkey-see-monkey-do-mocracy.
  
  Africa must have its own democracy guided by african thought. Prodi has given us the hint.
