It's same now. The economic indicators as provided by the state institutions are not that bad, but is the situation that good? It's up to you. The nation Ghana will only move on day people begin to objectively look at things.

  ON DECEMBER 30TH,2005,THE WORLD BANK COUNTRY DIRECTOR, MATS KARRISON SAID GHANA HAS NO REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MANAGING HER ECONOMY BECAUSE IT HAS ALL THE RESOURCES FOR ACCELERATED AT HER DISPOSAL. HE ADDED THAT MONEY HAS TO BE MANAGED & ACCOUNTED FOR.AND THAT NOT ACCOUNTING FOR MONIES IS PART OF CORRUPTION IN THE HIGHEST ORDER.
  HE ALSO STATED THAT THE DEVELOPMENT PARTNER INFLOWS STEEPLY INCREASED FROM MORE THAN $600M IN 2002 & WAS PROJECTED TO HIT $1.2B BY THE END OF 2003.FOR EXAMPLE, WHY SHOULD WE GO & BORROW MONEY TO BUILD A PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE & OFFICE? .THESE ARE MISPLACED PRIORITIES & WE ARE BLAMING MAHAMA. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE! .

  the trend is not good and we should not wait until we fall in the trap of Greece and others. Greece may have been struggling to survived but I doubt if Ghana can. this is no joke matter

  all that preoccupied ndc and their communicators during the past five yrs were anti akanistic insults, personal attacks on akufo addo, encouraging criminals and cronies to come for fake jdebts using all manner of dubious reasons, sole sourcing of contracts instead of competitive bidding to derive value for money, creating 45 new constituencies despite declining financial fortunes of the state, doing all it can to win elections 2012 by overspending by over 4.2 billion dollars or 8.5 billion dollars....etc etc....and thro all this john mahama never never never weighed the repercurssions on the country .....he went around borrowing and justifying it albeit dubiously........SO WHY DO THEY BLAME THE SINGLE S S S FOR THEIR OWN CRIMINALITY.....THE NDC IS SIMPLY CLUELESS AND CANT RULE BCOS THEY LACK THE ACUMEN TO RULE THE COUNTRY....ide biiii keke..
