It is imperatively important as we navigate through the current political quagmire. His brief clearly is about correct interpretation of the Electoral Laws (CI 75)in particular. A thorough interpretation must start now and become a serious integrated part of constitutional discussions for 2016 and subsequent elections. Once sorted, the mindset of "THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION" and all the stakeholders will be clear of any interpretational ambiguities. We should not allow ourselves to be lost in the dusty political cloud of partisan debate. The choice to avail ourselves of this information would be the educated choice of interested Ghanaians. There comes a time when the unreasonable allegiance to party politics must be subordinated to the supreme interest of Ghana. In fact the reality is that, benefits arising from concerted effort for genuine interpretation and clarification by our learned men in wigs would be immense, avoiding any possible hiccups and troubles in future elections. The choice is ours. Legal talents are abundant in Ghana and the question to be answered is whether we can afford to continue to ignore the tapping of the Ghanaian collective potential in solving the definition of OVER VOTING, thereby obviating the need for PETITION DRAMAS in our courts. We must embrace the values underpinning excellent electioneering processes and give opportunities to Ghanaian voters to properly select and elect their leaders and representatives. AFRICA must rid itself of systems, procedures and corrupt practices which encourage the unwelcome RITUAL entrenchment of parties in power and the destinies of its countries and citizens being hijacked and held hostage to the longevity of its leaders, through highly questionable and dubious elections. We must POLITICALLY grow up to develop AFRICA and enjoy our continent. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Adofo is one of many concerned Ghanaians who are hurting and stressing for clarification and a constitutional review at best. We are here today, gone tomorrow. How will POSTERITY judge us if we let this opportunity slip by? LONG LIVE GHANA AND AFRICA.

My problem with all this line of argument is whether it is just speculation about "what ifs" or whether you are speaking of specific polling stations where more votes were counted than the total turn out (You have not cited any).
If you are arguing about legal definitions, then we can agree on reforms that make the definition clear (That is how laws evolve everywhere).
If we are talking about what actually happened in this election, I am interested in the evidence to show that your line of argument is based on facts on the ground during this election (I am not fully briefed on this, and there may be evidence that I am not aware of, but that is what interests me).
Another thing which raises a specter of bias about your objectivity is the fact that you personalise the decision to Justice Atubiga. Do you think that his opinion alone would have been final. This is too important for us to be viewing it with tinted glasses. If there were errors, let's analyse them and make corrections. But partial views on the issue just prematurely aborts serious discussion since the other side will see through the lack of impartiality of the arguments and just tune out.
