  Parents of victims should take the law into their hands and deal with the the men. Then and then only will the authorities see the sense of punishing perpetrators, severely.

  Sexual exploitation of teenage girls by teachers in Ghana has been going on for years. Most of my classmates were victimized by some teachers in our boarding school and the teachers got away with it.The only way to stop this is to expel the offending teachers.

  i wonder if licensing teachers will work effectively because at the moment we are calling on non-professionals to teach. how do you license this category?

  How many days will it take to officially licence a teacher at the point of completing school? Once a student commences training, the process of licencing must commence. After the training, a professional exam organised by an educational body must be in motion to formally complete the licencing processes. It is simply a matter of commitment to see to its implementation. For those non professional teachers, a maximum of two or three years should allocated to them in order for them to complete their education programme upon recruitment to prepare them for the professional exam. In the course of their education programme or training a temporal licence could be issued pending the completion of the programme. If the teacher is unable to complete the programme, the temporal licence must be revoked and the teacher banned from holding himself or practising the profession.
