today our country has the notorious reputation of being one of the most corrupt in the world thanks to pepeni and his band of thieves . we told everyone we knew he had no plan or program to develop the nation except pillage the little monies left and yet today the claim that they could not perform because of a petition . look at their ministers who anything more than 3 pages is a challenge to read talk less of projects whose summaries alone can be over 5000 pages , they are so lazy and selfish that nothing good can come from them . their chief ideologist of evil avenoor was killed and i had planned to go to his grave and urinate and relieve myself on him once every month but he cremated himself i guess i will do so instead on rawlings grave soon. workers are on strike because they know this azaa govt has no clue and in this day and age considering the wealth of the nation no one should work for less than 1000 cedis or 500$ but if free education was such a challenge how can they ever fathom such a reality . they are hopeless so we are preparing for our revolution and telling all righteous to sharpen their knives and bury their guns to wait for for the clarion call. they think they have fooled the Akans especially the fantis , a third of their votes came from the fantis but there is not a single substantiate minister who is a true fanti . they wage war against us Akans but when we come our and call foul they say we are liars . we are ready now so let them bring it on . long live the republic of Akan

To have all these why not salvation act. of the Lord God Repentance becomes the initiation of SALVATION followed by baptisma as authentication in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Supreme Court, who many Ghanaians had thought would do the right thing by correcting all the mistakes and fraud by the EC rather "rubber-stamped" corruption and fraud in our electoral system. Now Ghanaians should their own judges; it's happening live! Things continue to fall apart for Ghanaians, yet the NDC don't want anyone to talk about it.

Those names were just put there the identify them. Paul has some 13 letters. Scholarship is now very certain that Paul did not write at least 6 of them. No one living today knows who wrote the Bible.

There is ONE thing we know and are sure of. The Bible was written by some human beings like you and me who knew how to write and tell a good story. GOD DID NOT WRITE THE BIBLE, AND HE DID NOT INSPIRE ANYONE OR ASK ANYONE TO WRITE IT. THE BIBLE IS A COMPLETELY HUMAN DOCUMENT - NO TWO WAYS ABOUT THAT!!!

Granted that the vices you indicated in your piece is what is bringing Ghana to its knees then countries like the US should have been no more because these are countries where such vices thrive with the full support of law.

instead of attributing our failure to such vices, i think we should rather draw on the biblical admonishing to go to the ant and learn its ways. Asian giants like Malaysia, Thailand and the rest have social vices as well but what they have been doing right is to work hard. To educate their people to make them productive, learn from successful countries what they got right and improve.

we seem to be doing the opposite and yet we want to improve. how can a tiny nation like Ghana not be able to solve its water problem for so long. it is just because we are not thinking outside the box. we value and appreciate good things but we just do not want to work for them. our leaders enjoy all the good things in life right from sophisticated 4X4s to the most fascinating mobile phones and designer wear but they will not stop to think about how we can even manufacture replaceable parts for their luxury goods.

all they do is to take our taxes and spend on their luxury without generating any thing productive.we may all be guilty of this offense be it at different levels.

we measure our success by how good our speeches are. we measure our leaders capabilities by how good looking they are. how can such yardsticks lead to improved conditions of life. yet we are quick to bother God and hide behind the cloak of God's sanctions. God do not sanction like that. infact Jesus have already paid the dues and individually we will account for our stewardship.

settle down to think and work and leave God to deal with the homosexuals. for all you know they will repent at the last hour. it has happened many times in history.

There is political,institutional,and social in Ghana and Africa now in unprecedented/gargantuan proportions.There has been series of corruption in Ghana from Nkruma's time to JAK's time. Remember Nkrumas's outburst on his Finance Minister-Goka's-10% bribery connection: Nkrumah angrily shouted "Goka you have let me down".

The soldiers especially during JJR's time. The irony of it is that that regime killed top military officers for perceived corruption. But,later corruption became worse even the civilian administration of JJR and corruption is now gradually drowning the country. Corruption and lack of decisive and dedicated leadership to check it is killing the country.JJR's8 years of as civilian president seemed to have eulogised corruption as a state-sponsored event,e.g.American lady Cotton's scandal. That was NDC administration. The same thing is happening. This does not mean there were no corruption in JAK's time. There was but it was some were checked-remember a sports minister was jailed and a substantive minister was dragged to SCHRAG. But what do we see now-suspected corrupt people are only being tried lightly by committees.

Corruption and weak leadership and mismanagement of the nation's resources and economy breeds child prostitution,rape large scale and sophisticated armed robberies. Ghana must be careful-a word to the wise is--------

The other is: Armed robbers- part of the armed robberies is caused by the poverty which have engulfed the country. Ghana needs a change of leadership and direction.

Well i think these steps come from us within. It is all up to us to think of which steps we think is best and what can we do to change. Because the step is we ourselves. My dear friend "Mighty Man" has made another concerned and fearless contribution to the debate about our country.
However, I think there is an irony in saying that Ghana is "cursed" for "sins" like homosexuality and prostitution. I think God should not curse a whole nation for the "sins" of a few. I won't go into the question whether homosexuality is a "sin" or not. However, my dilemma is why God will curse Ghana when the rich countries we seem to admire have much more of those "sins" than us. Several European countries caused the slave trade and the deaths of 10s of millions of Africans. Germany, the economic motor of Europe was responsible for the death of over 30million Europeans in the 2nd World War. Prostitution is actually illegal in Ghana, but legal in Germany and Holland. There are whole legal red light districts in those countries. In Finland where both my friend "Mighty Man" and I live, homosexualilty is legal.Pekka Haavisto (male), the Presidential runner-up of Finland and current Minister of Development lives with his male partner and openly campaigned with him in the Presidential election. There are more pornographic shops in Sörnainen (neighbourhood) in Helsinki per sq.mile than probably any other city in the world. Prostitution (not illegal in Finland - only pimping is illegal) is rampant in Sörnainen. So why would God curse Ghana and not these prosperous countries that we seem to admire? God is surely not a racist who punishes Black people and lets the white people go free?
I think that we should try to deal with those problems my friend mentions, but we are not cursed. Like those European countries, we can develop (materially) by innovation, entrepreneurship, and good governance.
