you made a good effort @ mentioning some names but you could have left it out: mentioning names without mentioning peter lamptey after you have succeded mentioning mama acquah, anas seidu, robert hammond & mohammed polo is grievious. apart from that it is unexcusable to omit benard don bortey. again it is unpardonable that emmanuel yartey could be forgotten.

I agree with you. However, the writer did mention and acknowledge past, present and future Hearts players globally. I do not think any malice or slight was intended by mentioning some names specifically, and leaving others out. This is a club that is 102 years old, so we would need an entire encyclopaedia to account for all of her glorious players, achievers and die hard supporters. Did you notice that even Nii Opoku Bayie (Opoku Afriyie, former captain of Kotoko) was mentioned? We all know that goal thief Peter Lamptey, expensive Robert Hammond (captain), Mr. No Way Hesse Odametey and many more Phobians are the reason Phobia is the most glorious club many of us ever know.

Yes,the Phobia club has achieved lots of successes from the affore headline"ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK CLOAKS 102 YEARS". I also agree with others who have commented here that mentioning of names, was not very necessary. The reason being that, the writer cannot mention some and leave out others. I also believe that,in as much as players were mentioned, some COACHES and names of people who managed the club during the time of these successes must also
be mentioned, cos without them, these successes could never have been achieved. Mentioning of coaches here brings to mind the exit of the present coach who has greatly rekindled the performance of the present crop of players this great club has.How can we be boastful and proud of such successes without a COACH? Let's sit and ponder over very vital and petinent issues that will help the club, i.e having a coach that will lead and guide the youngmen on the field of play who bring successes to our amazement, instead of sitting in that office around TUDU and drinking hauza koko in the morning, fried rice with chicken in the afternoon and banku with okoro stew(soup) in the evening, without making and taking good decisions,single-handedly.A word to the wise is enough.

Well done Phobia. I saw Nii Opoku's (Opoku Afriyie, former sniper and captain of Kotoko; Black Stars legend) name on the list. This should tell the world about the maturity of Hearts' fans. Even Kotoko's legendary captain found a home at victorious Hearts of Oak. Ahhh, those days!! Congrats Phobia!!!!

Happy 102 years. But Management of the club must of necessity re - engage coach David Duncan immediately. We must see him back on the technical bench as the Head Coach again in Hearts match against Medeama SC. Managing Hearts of Oak and Kotoko is not the same as managing any of the clubs around. And so managers of Hearts and Kotoko must always take this into cognisance before taking surprise and heartbreaking decisions like what was meted out to our own David Duncan. But I believe in Neil, that he will help bring about peace as far as this matter is concerned. Duncan must be re - engaged.
