Any MP who think his/her salary is not good enough for should kindly resign. there are people out there who needs just ghc10 to survive. are they serving us or we are serving them? they should give us a break.

In reality, we are saying that they deserve less than half of what they are getting now for doing nothing in the governance of our country. Aren't they ashamed of what they are earning in the midst of the poverty they have bestowed on the rest of us by their actions and inactions? Didn't the same Mensah-Bonsu lead the opposition to boycott parliament thus enabling the ruling party to give us the quality of ministers we now have? if they the parliamentarians are paupers, then there is no word left to describe what the rest of us hardworking people are -super paupers. we are tired of their ego-centrism. Well, if you have a job which does not pay you well as per your expectation, the reasonable thing to do is to resign. let them all resign.

Unfortunately you missed the tongue in cheek and sarcasm in the writer's piece. I took think that we should weep blood for our Honorable MPs. They do such a difficult and hard and tedious and burdensome work, even sometimes meeting at La Palm hotel for committee meetings. They , I've forgotten what else they do..Aah! they speak, they talk and they don't even get the chance to gossip in chauffeur driven limousines and be recorded. How dare we expect such honorable men and women to live such a pitiful existence.
