If Appiah will stay focused and keep working hard enough as a coach, the sky will be his limit. It takes time but he'll get there.

Yes that would be a good and sensible thing to do if we want to get serious in Brazil. that does not in anyway decrease Mr. Akwasi Appiah in anyway. It will only add to the entire team and Akwasi Appiah as well. If we are abl ...

EVERYTHING WE BOAST OF AT THE WORLD CUP WAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE HELP OF SERBIAN COACHES, LET US FALL BACK ON ANOTHER SERBIAN COACH HE WILL SURELY SEE US THROUGH TO THE FINALS. THEY ARE OUR BEST PARTNERS.

  • Adenyo 10 years ago

I know that you ROOT and not ROUTE for your team. I am confused. I may be wrong.

  • Paul Amuna 10 years ago

Adenyo, you are right, we ROOT for our team, but ROUTE is used both in describing how we 'guide' them to success and our ' celebration e.g. via 'route 37' when they have won.

The error is entirely mine. Thanks.

To err is human. As somebody said it is not our language.

  • Villars 10 years ago

"To err is human", don't blame it on language. Writer is plain lazy or he was saddled with a bad proof-reader.?

Thanks to all those trying to 'defend' me. The fact is I used the wrong word in my title and it should have been ROOT FOR. That is the only expression there is in the use of the word 'root' in the present context.

Your DEEM VIEW should also be DIM VIEW.
You write well, which suggests that you do proof-read.

However, get a back-up proof-reader, because it looks like you need to know differences between similes in pronunciation.

Clearly you have not read my correction above which I posted shortly after I saw Gbenyo's comment. Why not contribute to the article rather than nit-picking for the sake of it?

  • MARCUS AMPADU 10 years ago

Has everything to do with education, my brother. We spent lots of time learning about synonyms, antonyms, homonyms and homophones. It is not just nite-picking.

  • JIM KELLY (USA) 10 years ago
