For someone whose luxurious lifestyle is 100% dependant on government. ..his stupid statement back in the early 1980s asking Ghanaians "Rawlings should hand over power to whom", is reflective of who he is today. If you feel that it's ok for him to tell Ghanaians that if they can't bear the harsh economic conditions they can pick their passports and leave, and u with clear conscience write to support this man, then I don't know what is wrong with your head. Please spare us with your strange thoughts. You, like him belong to the mental hospital.

  if properly investigated we all know it should end with the impeachment and jailing of mahama . many are blinded and prejudiced by the love of their party or tribalism and do not want to see the truth. this is the saddest event in our history after the murder of Mills . our society and so called leaders are lazy and procrastinating not to mention lacking in courage and integrity so allow this tribal ethnocentric feudal society as opposed to an industrial entrepreneurial mentality and true nationalism with patriotism to flourish. history has proven that all feudal societies be it monarchy's , dictatorships or quasi democracies end up in blood shed whether through revolutions or war in favor of a republican structured system of governance . Bin laden realized the whole Arab world couldn't even produce a car tire and in his limited feudal mind blamed the innocent being the west for state as is the mentality of those trapped in this vicious circle. the northerners and ewes have been right under our noses setting up this catastrophe in the hope of being the ones to exploit and plunder the wealth of the Akans with the help of satellite smaller or marginal groups such as the Gas , krobos and even some of the twi speakers . despite all the money these feudal societies may have such as saudi arabia they can never evolve into the 21st century and develop. yes we have people with doctorate degrees in political science , history or sociology example tony aidoo who is only concerned about how much money he can get but can not point out these grave dangers to his bosses. the greed , selfishness , corruption and backwardness are all fruits of this ethnocentrism and tribalism and ensure we never develop but keep them in power . Gaddafi , Saddam died because they refused to realize that the welbeing and prosperity of the people is a God given right and duty of every govt to secure for their people . they call us separatists and try and make their madness the norm but we know it will be over soon . vikileaks has shown what is the fate of Akans who foolishly think they belong , if she had been an ewe or northerner the crisis control strategy would have said it was a fake tape but instead she was thrown out in the cold to the wolves . a word top the wise , do not trust them or take them into your confidence , long live the republic of Akan

  Nunoo Mensah might be right about certain sections of the Ghanaian media, but he is wrong on every other count. He is just like Sekou Nkrumah, a political prostitute, always jumping into bed with the winner!

  Anyway, I find myself agreeing with much of what you wrote, except the following, which I take umbrage at.

  I think you seriously contradict the scientific and logical derivation of the truth angles you espoused by attributing "absolute truths" to the religion-derived or ecclesiastical knowledge - one of the 3 main sources of knowledge - with that muddled thinking in your epistemology. It is false to claim that knowledge claimed by religion cannot be subjected to scientific verification or logical scrutiny. Did Galileo not prove that the earth was round and not the centre of the universe and was nearly subjected to the Inquisition had he not wisely recanted to avoid the rack, only for the Catholic Church to finally admit in the 1980s that Galileo was right, but curiously still claiming that the Church was right too, in order to preserve inerrancy of the Church? Perhaps, you should look at this duplicitous, forked-tongued tendency of the Church to look truth in the face, filifili, black like that and still claim that it was white as snow as the source of the lying, corruption and and that you ranted against as bad in our budgeoning, religion-infested Ghanaian society. So the would-be inquisitors of Galileo, which btw, included professors of learning, looked at the stars through the telescope he created and proclaimed that Galileo had pulled a fast one on them by some trickery, painting those stars into the glass! Seeing is believing doesn't work on the minds and paradigm of the religious, and so go through life ignoring all the truths many fields of learning have revealed about the universe which disproved their claims but it doesn't turn their persistence in remaining ignorant and obstinate in maintaining their false claims absolute and eternal "truths"! To claim so is humbug! Absolute humbug!
  
  And if you have some idea of axiomatic or canonical logic, you'd be familiar with some canons of logic which are considered as absolutes and provable, being the basis of mathematics and science itself. Any 2nd year Philosophy student should know what I mean, having tackled the truth tables of the sophomore year.
  
  Perhaps, some of you should give a thought to how Europeans and Arabs had used Christianity and Islam to plunder, enslave, colonise and exploit others respectively and you'd realise that some Africans/Ghanaians are simply emulating what others had done before.
