Funny article. When did corruption start in Ghana? Ask Nkrumah and his semi literate appointees? Who told you there was no corruption during AFRC and NDC at the time of Rawlings? The writer himself was corrupt. Probably he has been sidelined by Mahama.
The overthrow of Nkrumah was a necessary evil. Ghanaians had no freedom. Is that what Ghana wanted. The writer could have done a better job instead of being one sided.

As we all know, Col Kotoka was in Congo. CIA was busy doing business behind him, with Ghana and had established firm bonds with JWK Harlley of the Police and also Major Akwasi Afrifa.
Kotoka was disenchanted with the way Nkrumah ill-equipped the forces as they were in Congo (when compared with the Presidential Guards Regiment stationed in now Michel Camp-Shai Hills). It was no doubt therefore that Afrifa discussed with JWK Harlley if he Harlley could work out the NYE-BRO Kotoka.
Harlley successfully lobbied Kotoka (who was already 'pissed off' with Nkrumah).
This was the CIA connection.

I will throw a challenge to you to investigate the background of all the ministers who served under Nkrumah and you will notice that they are rich and where did they get the money? Corruption started the day we weaned ourselves off the British.
Have you asked JJ what happened to the money paid into PNDC accounts no.48 and who were the signatories? Did JJ render accounts to anyone and who are those Ghanaians?
JJ is corrupt and so are all the leader before and after him.
