  Ghanaians or to better put it, some Ghanaians can't handle the truth. Even when you open their brains and put the truth inside they will reopen their cranial sutures and allow it to escape. Yet the same people will spend the better part of their working week attending all night church services and the whole weekend doing nothing but worshipping God. What does the Bible teach us? Though shall not lie. Yet it appears the vast majority of those church goers have never heard this particular commandment. They will lie and lie through their teeth for political purposes and then turn round and wonder why their prayers are not being answered. I call on every single Ghanaian to do some serious soul searching and remember that if they are true believers, the scriptures are not joking when they say God is omnipotent and omnipresent. Therefore think before you propagate lies in the name of politics. Accept the truth and speak the truth even if it goes against your personal and/or political interests. Acknowledge that our president is doing his best to push the better Ghana agenda forward and do your part, however little to support this initiative. I'm sure even the most die- hard skeptics cannot help but realise that this is indeed the case and any name calling will do little, if anything to dissuade this very determined president from achieving his agenda. The writer has made his point very succinctly in this article and I applaud him for that. As we say in my language, you don't point at your own house with your left finger (doing so is considered a bad omen in my culture). So it beggars belief that the president's opponents are doing just that. Ghana is our common home if I may remind you of that. Put your bitterness and differences behind you and let's all join hands and help build our own country so come 2016 we will all enjoy better facilities whoever becomes the next head of state. This is common sense. Is it not?

The others worship anything that the neo-colonialist say and do not see the potential of their own. As for the imported religions- Africa must return to the belief systems that gave the world civilization.
