Can't you let go of the past? Which of these two parties in the eyes of our people have not had a rotten past. The most stupid idiot I have come across on ghanaweb. Coalition dont mean power sharing, its listening to one another, debate and at the end decide. NDC govt is not listening and is messing ghana economy, taking loans frim countries like China Japan and nobody knows where and how the money go.
You cant borrow money to pay wages of workers and NDC is doing that. If workers can produce money thru their work, they should be working.
NPP will never say they should put a prepay meters in govt buildings. John Mahama said it because nobody in his party advices him. Talking to NPP atupid things like that will never have come from John Mahama mouth.

1. The Ewes have superior brain power than their Asante/Akyim counterparts in the field of Academia etc. hence you will find majority of them in the civil service.
2. The Military is not meant for sissy's like you but, for men of bravery. So you are right not to mess around with the Ewes because Ghana's Security and your safety is in their hands. The Ewes are born warriors and you know it as a fact. It will be a scandal for an Ewe man to surrender and allow a woman like Yaa Asantawaa to fight on their behalf.

Bokor makes statements about Danquah and Busia that he has absolutely no proof of. He was not even born when these things happened. It is one thing not liking Danquah and Busia. It's a different thing repeating hearsay statements about them that you cannot proof yourself.

Was it out of his personal experiences or his upbringing? How does such a person sleep at night – probably thinking of being pursued by Akans?
What he fails to realise is that if Akans were to learn to bunch up like Ewes do, they (Ewes) would not have a stake in Ghana at all. Thank God there are a lot of well-meaning Akans and Ewes who have learned to live together and even form families together. It is to these people that we must celebrate and not this obviously misguided chap. He has nothing to offer Ghana and people read and listen to him at their peril.
I have always been concerned that we seem never to research into our and allow people to claim more patriotism than history indicates. The Volta region was a British Protectorate (the Germans having been dispossessed of their colonies after the Second World War). It only became part of Ghana on the eve of independence. The outcome of the referendum that made it part of Ghana was a split decision: 54%:46% in favour of being part of Ghana.
The first organised insurrection against the independent state of Ghana occurred in the then Trans-Volta Togoland (now Volta Region). This was on the 8th of March 1957, just a day after independence.
It is therefore palpably false for any Ewe to claim to be be even more patriotic or more Ghanaian than other tribal/ethnic groups. Their forebears never wanted to be part of the new country.
Bokor should be consigned to the heap of rabble rousers who have nothing better to contribute to their nation. It’s a shame that what could have been a fine mind is wasted on such articles!

2. I think it is unnecessary of you to cast what Bokor has written here in Akan against Ewe light. Bokor does not represent Ewes just as you don't represent Akans. Bokor is an individual and expressing his personal views. It is not necessarily the views of other Ewes.
3. Your account of Ghana's history is vfactually incorrect. The Volta Region was NOT, repeat NOT, a British Protectorate. The Volta Region was created when we attained independence and it could not have been a British Protectorate since it didn't exist before independenc. The Trans-Volta Togoland was a British Protectorate. It is NOT the same as the Volta Region. Much of the present Volta Region was NOT a German colony. It is only the northern half of the present VR which was a German colony. The southern half was a British colony called Gold Coast since 1850. Please, read this well and do not make that mistake of saying Volta Region was a German Colony. Note also that Northern and Upper Regions are made up of parts that were former German colonies that became British Protectorate.
4. Bokor, if I read the name right, comes from a place which had been Gold Coast since 1850 and was NEVER a German colony. Bokor's home village was not part of Trans-Volta Togoland.
I wish to conclude by repeating the fact that we should criticize articles without assuming that the writers represent the tribes they belong to. And the correct historical facts should always be cited to support our arguments.

My characterisation was not based on this singular article. He has been the author of several anti-Akan articles. There is a limit to how one man can go after tribal issues. Just about a month ago, he was writing about how the NDC government needs to approriate manifestos of other parties. With this proposition, what is the difference in what Dr Jonah called for?
I am sorry that I allow myself to be provoked into even discussing tribal groupings. He and Okoampa need to stop though so that we all can contribute to Ghana's advancement.
