It's in our own interest! We don't need anybody from the outside to tell us to protect our fishery supplies and interdict the European and Asian poachers. These A-holes come with huge factory ships, brother, and they scoop up everything from the ocean floor, leading to rapid depletion.

Can our leaders safeguard our resources and keep the foreign trawlers out? Nope! That is not their priority. Safeguarding jobs, our food is not important to any of them.

Little Johnny and his grandfather have gone fishing. After a while grandpa gets thirsty and opens up his cooler for some beer. Little Johnny asks, "Grandpa can I have some beer too?"
"Can you stick your penis in your asshole?" grandpa asked back.
"No"
"Well, than your not big enough"
Grandpa then takes out a cigarette and lights up. Little Johnny sees this and asks for a cigarette.
"Can you stick your penis in your asshole?" grandpa asked again.
"No"
"Well, than your not big enough"
Little Johnny gets upset and pulls out some cookies. His grandfather says, "Hey, those cookies look good, can I have some?"
Little Johnny asks, "Can you stick your penis in your asshole?"
Grandpa looks at Johnny and senses his trick so he says, "Well of course I can, I'm big enough."
Little Johnny then says, "Well, then go fuck yourself, these are my cookies"

There wouldn't be rampant pair trawling and harvesting of fish from our shores if the political leaders hadn't allowed it. Giving fishing licenses to party gurus who had never owned even a fishing hook became one means of patronage used by the Kufour regime to enrich a few selected ones at the expense of the mass of the fishing community and the country at large. These people then sell off the license to their so-called foreign "partners" - Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, etc., - and presto, $12-20000 are deposited in their foreign accounts. Has the NDC stopped this pernicious practice, or continued it?
