WE MUST BEGIN FRIENDLY GAMES AS OF JAN. AT LEAST 1 FRIENDLY PER MTH.

  Portugal is a good side, Ronaldo is a great player who is even better than he has ever been.

  We have no reasons to fear Portugal. Like your article said, they didn't do well in a relatively easy qualifying group. I watch both play-off matches against Sweden on tv. The Swedes don't have a good team this year and have only one really good player - Zlatan (whom I think is as good as Ronaldo and certainly a more graceful player with high technical skills). But the Swedes matched the Portuguese well enough. All four of Ronaldo's goals were the ones you don't give a player like him a half chance to take. The marking was a wee bit slow in the goal in Lisbon and that was enough for Ronaldo to score. In the Stockholm game, the Swedes were playing high up in an effort to get a goal. Ronaldo was left alone up front and with only the keeper to beat, he did it in magnificent style each time scoring with both legs. We should watch these games and learn how to play this guy. We have the people to take care of him - every second of the game.
  
  Our main worry should be Germany and even perhaps USA.
  
  Gentlemen, our chances are not zero. We can make it!!!

  Coaches do not play matches, they are tacticians. If you lack tactical know-how, you cannot lead a team to win. This is what we all advocate for.

A coach playing a match means what tactics he chooses, how he changes the tactics during the play, what kind of play he wants from his players and how he plans the whole thing on paper even before the boys get onto the field.
  
  That is a figuarative use of the word "play". Like we say the coach is playing John Mensah on the left or he is playing Abedi as an attacking midfielder.

  Listen guys the group we all admit is tough but we as ghanaians need to believe in ourselves that we can win that group and even win the World cup trust me it's all psychological. We have players from Ghana who equally play competetive football in europe as compared to the other nations why can't we compete with them. The team should work above themselves and the results will manifest at the mundial.
