Don't you see how our media houses always devote prime time to political discussions? BBC and CNN would rather devote such a time to discusing neutrnos and microbi in the gut and how they determine the lifespan of a person. W ...

It's about time we change our ways to reflect current trends.Ghana is too polarised into NPP & NDC. Everything is seen in those pathetic colours. God save Ghana!
Nkrumah used Ghana money to achieve freedom and independence for an African states, he wasted Ghana money for nothing, and there is no City in Ghana.
if you had an ounce of brain, you would be dangerous. Can you fucking think? next time when you wash your neck, just fucking wring it! you have excelled yourself in ignorance.
Nkrumah and Mandela are all great Africans period! Good article
Well written article, Kofi. I thought this debate was untimely and unnecessary. Nelson Mandela's funeral rites are still on-going in South Africa - and here we are having heated debates about whether he is greater than Nkru ...

Bloody Obama has caused all this unnecessary debate
I dont understand why we should compare these great statesmen at all.I feel sorry for KB Asante also coming into the debate....a big disgrace.
To me Nkrumah towers above Madiba amd there is no contest................
Mandela rightfully, stood up against white oppression for as long as he could and eventually; he humanly tolerated everything just for the sake of p ...

Good. This is wisdom and it shows high degree of intelligent. well done.
This is reasonably sensible piece. You cannot compare two human beings of different historic era, fighting different causes, under different difficult circumstances, and with different visions. Both Kwame Nkrumah and Nelson M ...

Sorry, it was started by President Obama and then Duodu;not Akosa please
When did Cameron Duodu compare Nkrumah to Mandela? He just wrote what Mandela told him about his (Mandela's) attempt to see Nkrumah in the early sixties. NDC and lying go together.
Why start this foolish debate now when Mandelas mortal remains is yet to be buried! Some of our so-called professors are simply a disgrace to academia.
You forgot one significant difference: Nkrumah was for economic independence for Africa and africans; Mandella was happy to leave economic power in tact, untampered in white hands.
When Ghana became independent so did Malaysia...today, look at the difference. Ghana, now even with oil, can't keep the lights on.
